Went to the gun show today, picked up a custom Saiga .223! Wanted to share it, and see if any other crunchyroll users shared a love of firearms. Lets see some pics and such!
Here's my new Saiga, along with my Marlin Model 60, Hi-Point C9, and my Ruger MKI.

It's a gas operated auto loader, but I assume you mean full auto fire... No, just single fire, though I may invest in a slidefire stock later on... That's the saiga. Basicly it's a Kalashnikov built for exportation. Unfortunatley Mr. Obama banned Izhmash (the makers of the saiga) from exporting to the US back in july. This saiga will probably gain value awful fast if the ban isn't lifted...

EDIT:(Just noticed both rifles are scoped, but I'd suppose you were talking about the eye catcher on the bottom...)

I used to go hunting so I still have a few guns. Mostly shotguns. The first time I fired a gun I was about 10. My uncle loaded the old 20 gage with just one round and pointed us down an old abandoned road at some pop cans. It kicked pretty hard when I pulled the trigger, I hit the can. I was happily rubbing my sore shoulder when I was done.

Where I grew up we all had BB-guns by the time we were about 8 or so and ALL the adults taught us to treat those BB-guns like real weapons... No BB-gun wars... too many kids had Crossman pump guns and the ridiculously powerful Sheridan and Benjamen pump guns. You could seriously hurt people with those... It was rumored that 12 or so pumps on those air-guns would get you .22-like velocities out of your BBs or pellets.

I still have my first Mossburg 500A 12 gage shotgun. Managed to bring home a lot of ducks with that gun. I got a Remington 870 and put a plastic stock on it, an excellent jump and shoot gun. Shot a couple Canada geese with it along with a lot of ducks. AND I have my pride and joy a Browning BPS 10 gage pump shotgun, a wonderful goose gun.

I lost the taste for wild game, it tastes like old liver to me any more; along with the fact that it costs a ton of money to get a hunting license along with the stamps and permits, safety and goose school papers.... got too expensive to go hunting anymore.

I have several rifles and pistols ranging from the venerable Nylon66 .22 semi-auto to my Thompson Contender in .45 Winchester magnum.

I used to go shooting just about every weekend but since it costs about $24 just to go to a range around here any more, I find I keep my weapons locked away most of the time.
