Why is it that inaho was so quick to shoot down slaine when he showed signs that he wanted to protect the princess by assisting him to take down that other martian but yet he's quick to let a complete martian stranger "Rayet" on board

This is basically what he is saying
"I shot you down Slaine because you could be a danger for the princess. Nah, you are cool Rayet despite what you just did"

Stupid decisions if you ask me? whats your opinion

Inaho knew Slaine was trying to reclaim Asseylum and make her his lady, but Inaho wanted to keep Asseylum for himself to get Slaine NTR'd so Inaho shot him down. Inaho wants dat ass all for himself. It's all part of his plan.

And he was so forgiving with Rayet because he saw her as a potential harem member.

siiigh... first off there's no need to create an entirely new thread just for this. You don't need to do this to catch senpai's attention

second...

You're looking at this whole thing wrong. The fact that Slaine's only interaction with Inaho is through a freaking radio while they had Rayet in person for a long time gives him more perspective on how to judge Rayet.

In Slaine's case he was asking to see if he's an ally or not. That was the whole point of Inaho questioning Slaine and Slaine blew it.

In Rayet's case, Rayet has been with them for a long time. He had quite the number of conversations with her to know that Rayet does indeed hate Martians(and before you argue that she might be lying you have to remember that her actions didn't really contradict her words to begin with). Also you seem to be ignoring the fact that Rayet practically revealed everything about her in this episode. She was pouring her heart out and voicing out all of her grievances in this episode and was about to commit suicide. All of this while she had the only gun and could have killed them but she didn't and instead was about to kill herself due to grief/guilt.

We don't have the ability to merge threads, but I have closed this since there's an existing thread for discussion about this show. Feel free to post again there.
