Chapter 1-The clock work world
The bright sun beamed over the streets of Akihabara. Posters of anime characters decorated the buildings. The smell of crepes drifted across the air. Buses drove down the road with idol posters on the side and music blurting out.People wearing suits, school uniforms and Cosplay walked down the paths, enchained in their conversation. One girl stood out. A young, cute Japanese girl with a baby face and pure white hair that was curled and split in half by two pink hair-ties in high twin tails , causing it to reach just above her waist was standing on the path. Her height was 152 cm. A full fringe covered her forehead, laying just above her eyes. Her right eye was pastel purple and her left eye was pastel pink. A pale pink bow was on the side of her head, just in-front of the white maid styled headdress. Her outfit consisted of a short navy maid uniform, pastel pink and white stripped thigh high socks and low white heels with a bow on the strap. "Today our magic bubble tea is on offer, for only 200 yen," she commented in a warm, cute voice.A quite Jpop song played out from the building behind her. Pastel pink banners were outside the cafe featuring pictures of cute food and pictures of girls wearing maid cafe uniforms, including the white haired girl. "Kuro-tan!" a little girls voice giggled from in-front of her. "Ami," Kuro smiled. "Just wanted to come say hi," Ami grinned. She had short light brown hair and was wearing a kindergarten uniform with a red randoseru on her back. Two girls wearing there school uniform walked past. One walked straight through Ami. "Have you figured out why you can see ghosts?" Ami wondered. "Not yet, guess its to do with them," Kuro sighed, pointing to her eyes. "Well I should get going, bye," Ami waved before running off, running through the people walking on the path. "Yukimura-chan," a female voice called behind her. Turning around, she saw a girl with short brown hair tied up in a side pony tail who was wearing the same uniform however had a red bow on the side,a red beaded bracelet around both of her wrists, thin black tights with dark black spots and two inch high red heels.
"Sashihara-chan!" Kuro smiled. "Should we start talking informal now?" Sashihara-chan offered. "But your my senpai," Kuro reminded. "I'm fine with you calling me Rino. Especially since we've known each other for five years and work a lot together," Rino explained. "Okay," Kuro nodded. "Anyway, Kuro-chan its time to swap," Rino informed. "Okay," Kuro smiled, passing her the the leaflets. "Bye!" Kuro waved as she walked into the building behind them. The cafe was decorated in pink and white. Coloured lights hung from the ceiling. On the walls were digital anime styled chibi maids which moved.
A faint smell of incense candles drifted across the air while quite music from anime were playing out from the white speakers.Inside was four more maids and a few customers. Two customers walked towards the door. Kuro smiled as she lightly bowed. "Thank you for coming," she smiled. "She's really cute!" the customer whispered as they walked out of the cafe. The electronic doors opened as a young Japanese woman with brown hair walked into the face."A customer is entering our country, Welcome to maidreamin," she smiled, bringing her outstretched left hand up to her face. "Thank you for waiting," she smiled, placing a small tray with a glass candle down near the edge of the table where the customer was sitting. She carefully knelled down on the ground. "You become our dear customer while this candle is lit," she smiled, lifting up the candle. The customer nodded. "So lets count to three together to light the candle," she smiled, holding up three fingers. In-unison her and the costumer counted down from three, making the numbers with their fingers. "Welcome home! You have finally arrived at our dream land,Maidreamin," Kuro smiled. She lightly blew on the candle which caused a flame to appear. She placed the candle back onto the small tray. Kuro and the customer both lightly clapped. "So she's the legendary fairy maid," a high school girl commented as she took a sip out of her blue drink. "She's cuter then I thought!" the girl sitting opposite her nodded. A few hours later. Kuro twirled around on one foot, bring her left hand outstretched up to her face as leaning to the left slightly as she winked. "Welcome to maidreamin," she smiled. "Kuro-chan!" a female voice greeted from one of the doors. Standing in-front of her was a girl with straight black hair and was about 160 cm tall. The bow on her uniform was yellow and she had a maid headdress on her head.
"Mayu!" Kuro beamed, quickly hugging her. "Hi," Mayu smiled. "How was it?" Kuro asked. "I got 50th at the school," Mayu responded. "Knew you would pass!" Kuro smiled. "Kirito-kun said he would help me get into the school," Mayu remembered. "So you might get to be a professional pastry chief," Kuro beamed."I'm thinking about opening a Japanese sweets shop if I graduate," Mayu nodded. "Well done!" Kuro smiled, giving Mayu a high five. "If I do get in then all we need to worry about is you becoming an idol," Mayu added. "I'm fine working here," Kuro reminded. "Good point," Mayu nodded. "Shouldn't you two get to work?" a male chief reminded, popping up behind them. "Sorry Kiku!" Kuro cried. His checks turned red as he looked to the side. "You don't need to the whole Moe girl face," he flushed. "I think my brother has a crush on you," Mayu teased, causing both Kuro and Kiku to blush. "Mayu..." Kiku flushed, lightly hitting his younger sister on the head. "Anyway where's the manager?" Kiku asked. "She's outside handing out leaflets," Mayu explained. Kuro nodded. "Thanks," Kiku responded before going outside. A few hours later. "Okay, its time for our fairy maid, Kuro-chi's special performance," a maid with short brown hair with dark blue as her main colour. Kuro's checks lightly blushed as she walked up onto the small stage in the middle of the room, pressing her fingers against each other. "Don't worry Kuro-chan!" Mayu whispered. Kuro smiled as she nodded. A Jpop song loudly played through the speakers. Kuro started to dance along to the music. She started to sweetly sing in a soft, sweet voice. A few hours later."Are you sure your always okay with doing a long shift?" Rino asked, checking the time on her watch which said it was 11pm."It's not like I have anything else to do and its fun," Kuro nodded. "It's just that your the most popular so you have a high salary, 1375 yen an hour," Rino sighed. "It's fun although I don't mind the money," Kuro added. Rino bursted out laughing. "Since all your clothes, anyway its the end of your shift," Rino informed. "Okay, thank you," Kuro smiled, slightly bowing before going into the changing rooms. Kuro checked her pastel pink seifuku in the long mirror before putting on her jacket and walking out of the changing rooms. The sky was covered in a blanket of darkness with the lights reflecting from the buildings decorating the jet black sky. The temperature had dropped to 20 decrees. While walking back from Shibuya station,Kuro heard footsteps behind her. She felt something touch her shoulder from behind her. Turning around, she saw the empty street. "Am I imagining things?" Kuro mumbled, turning around. A shadow walked out of the darkness. A man, about twenty, with short black hair and wearing a black suit was standing in-front of her, which made her jump. "Did I frighten you?" the man asked, in a western Japanese dialect. "Sorry," Kuro nodded. A smile formed on the man's face. Kuro bowed her head slightly as she walked past. He grabbed her arm, stopping her from walking. "Princess," he smiled. "You have the wrong person," Kuro mumbled, trying to pull away. The man's eyes slowly turned black. "You can't fool a demon," he added before pushing her against the wall. Kuro tried to pull away however his grip on her as he was pushing her against the wall was too tight. She quickly stood on his foot, causing him to let go of her. As she ran off, he gripped onto her wrist before pushing her down to the ground.Chains suddenly shot out of the ground from behind the man, zooming towards Kuro who dodged out of the way. "What's happening?" Kuro mumbled, dodging out of the way of the chains. "No more running away, princess," the man moaned. Chains wrapped around her legs, pulling her down to the ground. THUD. Chains shot up into the air, aiming towards Kuro. The chains suddenly shot towards her. Kuro closed her eyes as pain rushed through her leg. As the chain pulled out, warm blood dripped down. Kuro opened her eyes, looking down at the cut. She quickly put her hand on-top of the cut. Kuro slowly stood up. Pink beams of light formed around Kuro with sparkles drifting of."What's happening?" she cried, looking down at the beams of light. "Annoying princess," the man moaned, stepping forwards. Chains shot up behind him. "It took a while to find you," he added, walking over to Kuro and kicking her down to the ground. The man kicked her to the side. "You've been trying to find me?" Kuro mumbled, sitting up and wiping the blood of her check.. "Get away from her," a male voice demanded from behind them. A Korean boy with brown and blonde hair and was 173 cm tall, came running up as small sparks of lightning bounced of the walls.
He crouched down, wrapping his arm around Kuro's shoulder."An ace?" the man moaned, kicking Kuro to the side. "Don't touch her," the new boy complained, pushing the man backwards. The new boy looked down at the cut. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" he asked. Kuro weakly shook her head. "I'll get you out of here in a minute," he added. "Oh right, I'm Kim Jonghyun,"he remembered, making a 'v' sign. "Yukimura Kuro," Kuro blushed. "Nice to meet you Kuro," he smiled, ruffling her hair before standing up and rushing towards the man who had chains appear behind him. He quickly kicked the man backwards. "Why did you use my name?" she blushed. Jonghyun smiled as he dodged out of the way of the man. Kuro went to stand up however pain rushed through her. The man snickered as he dodged Jonghyun. Chains suddenly shot towards Kuro. Paper wrapped around the chains. Footsteps bounced of the walls behind her. A warm hand went down onto her shoulder. "It's okay," a male voice reasured behind her. A Korean boy who was 179 cm tall with blonde hair and dark eyes walked in-front of her.
"I'm Kim Kibum but call me Key. What about you?" he introduced. "Yukimura Kuro," she mumbled. "Kuro, cute name," Key smiled. Kuro's checks blushed as he ruffled her hair. "Do you really have to be flirting with her?" Jonghyun complained, jumping of the wall to dodge the chains that shot towards him. Chains wrapped around Jonghyun pulling him backwards. Chains shoot up into the air, zooming towards Kuro and Key. Key quickly pulled Kuro towards him, tightening his grip on her as paper lifted up into the air around them. The paper blocked the chains. Key stood up before helping her up as well. "I'm going to go help Jonghyun," he informed, patting her on the head before rushing over to Jonghyun.Kuro stepped backwards, bumping into someone. Looking up, she saw a young Korean boy standing behind her. He was 177 cm tall and had fiery red hair.
"Are you okay?" he asked. As he and Kuro exchanged eye-contact he smiled. "I'm Lee Taemin," he added. Before Kuro could respond Key shouted out,"She's Yukimura Kuro." Taemin ruffled his hand through his hair. "Sorry that I was late," he flushed. Bubbles of water suddenly appeared in the air around him."Sorry I'm late," a male voice called behind them. A 186cm tall Korean boy with short black and brown layered hair was standing behind them.
"I'm Choi Minho," he added. He put his hood up before running forwards, holding out his hands at the side. Techno styled graphics appeared as a faint gun appeared next to both of his hands. As soon as he grabbed onto the handles, the gun turned black with a green clover printed on the side. He aimed towards the street lamp above the demons head. BANG. As the shot echoed through the air, Kuro flinched. The glass on the lamp fell as the light turned off. He jumped up, dodging out of the way of chains. Taemin wrapped his arms around Kuro's shoulder from behind her. The demon dodged out of the way of them, rushing forwards. Strawberry vines wrapped around the demon. A 177cm tall Korean boy with light brown hair came running around the corner.
"I'm Lee Jinki, call me Onew," he added before running over to help Jonghyun. "Why are you helping me?" Kuro mumbled. "Because your the princess and a cute girl," Key smiled, glancing down at the blood on her hands. He felt his heartbeat skip. Chains shot out from the sides, zooming straight towards them. Strawberry vines wrapped around the chains. The demon walked past the boys as chains wrapped around them. The demon gripped onto Kuro's arm to stop her from helping them. The demon gripped onto Kuro's checks. "So, your the Princess," he addressed, looking down into her mismatching eyes. She looked to the side as she kicked him where it hurts, causing him to let go of her. THUD. "Stupid Shinigami," he divulged, kicking Kuro backwards into the nearby wall. "Kuro!" Jonghyun and Key panicked in-unison. Kuro sat up, her hair sparkling under the moonlight. Sparkling stars suddenly appeared in the air around her. The stars lifted up with pink sparkles flying of and bursting as the sparkles touched the ground. Glows of light grew out of the ground. Chains shot up into the air around the demon who grinned as black runes covered his face. Kuro quickly held her hands out in-front of her. The stars shot towards the man, landing on the ground around him and bursting into a pale pink glow. The guys quickly pulled away from the chains. The demon staggered backwards, stopping when he felt a hand going down onto both of his shoulders. Behind him was Minho and Onew. "Check mate," Minho commented. Kuro's body felt weak as she fell forwards, being caught by Jonghyun. "Its probably due it being the first time you used your powers," Taemin added. Kuro weakly nodded, placing her hands on Jonghyun's arm as she sat up. "We'll take him into SDC," Onew added, glancing at Minho who nodded. They dragged the demon of. "Do you live around here?" Key asked, watching Kuro nod. Taemin knelled down next to Kuro, with his back facing her. "It will be easier to carry you," he explained, holding his hands out behind him. "I'm okay, I can walk," Kuro blushed, standing up however pain rushed through her. "Are you sure?" Key asked, sounding worried. Kuro nodded. Taemin moved his arms as he stood up. Key had given Kuro his arm to use as support as they helped her walk to her apartment which she had said was just around the corner. "This is where you live?" Taemin asked, looking up at the small stack of apartments. Kuro nodded. Around the corner of the apartment door was the door leading to Kuro's room which was filled with cute plushies and racks of clothes. On the right wall of her room were my melody storage boxes which were filled with accessories and more clothes. Her bed was covered in a pink floral duvet and the window behind her bed was covered in a pink curtain. In the left corner of her room was a opened wardrobe packed with pastel clothes and only a small amount of black which were at the side. Kuro sat down on the edge of her bed. "Do you have any bandages?" Jonghyun asked. "In the kitchen. In one of the cupboards. I'll get it," Kuro blushed, going to stand up however Key pushed her back down onto the bed. "You shouldn't walk," he reminded. "I'll get it," Jonghyun added before running of. Taemin picked up one of the my melody plushies which was one of the many merchandise for the character. "I take it you like my melody?" he asked, playing with the plushies bunny ears. Kuro's face blushed as she nodded. "It's really embarrassing," she blushed. "Jonghyun and Onew's room is filled with anime stuff as well," Key remembered, sitting down next to her. Taemin glanced at a photo of Kuro, Mayu and Rino dressed in their maid uniform. Kuro's face blushed as she quickly hid the picture. "This is going to sting a bit," Jonghyun added, carrying a first aid box into the room. He crouched down in-front of Kuro. He opened a packet with a antiseptic wipe inside. Taemin sat down next to Kuro, still holding onto the My melody plushie. She flinched as he wiped the antiseptic wipe over the cut. Taemin grabbed her hand, causing her to glance up at him. Jonghyun wrapped a bandage around her cut. "Ow," Kuro flinched. "Sorry," Jonghyun panicked. "Do you want any pain killers?" Key offered. "I'm okay," Kuro mumbled. "Why did the demon try to kill me?" she mumbled. Jonghyun and Key exchanged glances. "Your a Shinigami but your known as the princess," Key explained. "I'm a Shinigami?" Kuro mumbled. "Are your hair and eyes real?" Taemin guessed, watching Kuro nod. "Then that makes sense if your a Shinigami," Jonghyun explained. Kuro nodded, looking down at the ground. Key pulled out her white i-phone 4, which was covered in a pink little twin stars skin, out of her pocket. He started typing. "If you need anything just call," he added before handing the phone to Key who started to type. "I'm putting Onew's and Minho's number in here as well," he informed. "Aren't your girlfriends going to misunderstand if I ever call?" Kuro mumbled. "We're all single," Key stated. "And straight," Taemin added. "Why did you add that in?" Kuro blushed. "You were going to ask about boyfriends," Taemin guessed, watching Kuro nod. Key passed him her phone. "So you like Kpop," Taemin stated, looking through the pictures. Kuro's face blushed as she went up onto her knees. "You can't look through them," she blushed. Taemin passed her back her phone. "So you like U-Kiss and Exo," he smiled. Kuro's checks blushed. "We should leave you," Key added. "Right, see you later," Jonghyun smiled, patting Kuro on the head. "I'm going to stay for a few more minutes, if that's okay," Taemin requested, looking at Kuro who nodded. "If he tries anything, kick him and ring us," Key advised while Jonghyun picked up the first aid kit. He went to put it back in the kitchen before him and Key put their shoes on and left the apartment. "Your still a little scared," Taemin observed, leaning backwards on his arms. "Is it obvious?" Kuro mumbled. "Not really," Taemin sighed, laying backwards on the bed. "But your a cute and innocent girl, finding out your a Shinigami and almost being killed isn't an easy thing," Taemin explained. Kuro nodded. . "The others call you Kuro, is it okay if I call you Kuro as well?" Taemin flushed. "Okay," Kuro nodded, blushing slightly. "Right, its slightly awkward since we've just met," Taemin remembered. "For some reason though I trust all of you," Kuro admitted. Taemin smiled as he picked up a Rilakkuma plushie of the bed. "That's good to hear," he softly smiled. "How old are you anyway?" Kuro blushed. "21, what about you?" Taemin wondered. "Sixteen," Kuro mumbled. "I'm the youngest out of the guys as well, pretty big age difference," he sighed. Ten minutes later. "You look really tired," he observed, watching Kuro rub her eyes. "I'm okay," she yawned. "Okay, that's it," he sighed, standing up. Taemin wrapped his arm's around Kuro, picking her up Princess style which caused her to blush. He moved the duvet before placing her down at the top of the bed. "You need to get some sleep," he responded, pulling the duvet up. "I'm okay, really," Kuro blushed. "You used up a lot of energy by using your powers, the sleep will help," he reminded, carefully taking the hair ties out of her hair. "I need to get changed first," she blushed. "Ah, right. I should leave you to get changed. Do you want me to tuck you in afterwards?" he offered. Kuro's face turned red. "I'm not a little kid!" she blushed. "I just want to look after you," Taemin admitted, ruffling his hand through his hair. "I'll be okay, thank you for everything!" Kuro smiled. Taemin's face flushed as he looked away. "Good night," he waved before leaving the room. The next morning. "Are you okay?" Rino asked, watching Kuro. She nodded as she pulled down her sleeves slightly. A few hours later."Hi, It's time to swap," Megumi called, walking into the cafe. "Okay," Kuro nodded. As Kuro stepped outside pain rushed through her. She crouched down against the wall. "It hurts," she mumbled. "Kuro?" Onew's voice called from above her. Looking up, she saw Onew. He crouched down in-front of her. "Does it hurt a lot?" Onew asked, watching Kuro nod. "Sorry for letting you get hurt," he apologized, moving the hair out of Kuro's face. "It wasn't your fault," Kuro mumbled, looking to the side. "You look cute by the way," he added, glancing down at her uniform. Kuro's face turned red as she covered his eyes. "Can you not tell the others?" she blushed. "That you work in a maid cafe? Okay," he nodded. Kuro moved her hands away from his eyes. An awkward atmosphere filled the air. "How old are you anyway?" Onew wondered, fixing the bow in her hair. "16, what about you?" Kuro responded. "24, so you should be in high school," Onew observed. "I stopped going in middle school," Kuro admitted. "Me too," Onew confessed. Kuro looked up at him. "You stopped going to school as well?" Kuro asked. "I was too busy with training," he nodded. "I guess I should let you go back to work," he added, helping Kuro stand up. "Sorry for bothering you," Kuro mumbled. "It's no problem," Onew reasured, going to pat Kuro on the head however stops. He ruffles his hand through his hair. "I'll see you later," he muffled, slightly bowing his head before running of. Onew looked down at his hand and sighed. "That was weird," Kuro mumbled, walking forwards. "So they said your a Shinigami princess?"Mayu asked, watching Kuro nod. "Do you believe them?" she added. "Yeah," Kuro sighed. "Well you said you can see spirits and stuff so it makes sense," Mayu reminded. "Kuro-chan, do you want to walk home together?" Rino offered at the end of their shift. "Okay," Kuro smiled. Ten minutes later. "Anyway this is where I go down, bye," Rino waved before walking down the cross roads. "Bye," Kuro shyly waved. As she turned around, she bumped into someone. "Hi," Jonghyun smiled from in-front of her.
Jonghyun moved his arms away from Kuro. "Are you okay?" he asked. "I'm okay, you?" Kuro nodded. "I'm fine," Jonghyun smiled, patting Kuro on the head. "Do you want to go home together?" he flushed, ruffling his hand through his hair slightly."Okay," Kuro blushed. "There so cute!" Kuro smiled as she spotted a Mamegoma claw machine outside a arcade on the way to the Akihabara train station.
"Which one do you want?" Jonghyun wondered, getting a 100 yen coin out of his pocket. "One of the white ones," Kuro responded. "I'll win it for you," he smiled, inserting the coin into the machine. "Are you sure?" Kuro asked. "I love playing these," he nodded, moving the claw down to one of the white plushies. The claw caught onto two matching plushies. As the plushies dropped into the prize gap, Kuro hugged him."We can be matching now," he smiled, handing one of the plushies to her. "Yep," Kuro beamed. "Are you sure your okay with walking to your apartment from the station?" Jonghyun asked while they were on the train. "I'll be fine," Kuro nodded. "You seriously make me worried," he sighed. Kuro smiled as she mad a 'v' sign. Jonghyun waved as the train doors closed after Kuro stepped out. "Bye!" Kuro smiled, waving. "It's weird that I trust them," Kuro sighed while walking to her apartment. Street lamps lit up the sky. The sound of footsteps suddenly bounced of the ground.A hand wearing a finger-less glove wrapped around her mouth. Kuro stepped on there foot, causing them to let go of her. Kuro quickly rushed forwards, turning around to see a tall man with short black and red split dyed hair. Black sparkles appeared behind him. After a few seconds, the sparkles turned into a red ghost-soul like shape similar. It's golden beady eyes focused on Kuro as its jack-o-lantern styled mouth portrayed a Cheshire cat grin. "This is Mew, My power means I can summon her," the man informed. Kuro took a step backwards, catching the attention of Mew. "Your cute but it's best if you die," the man added, clicking his fingers which caused Mew to shoot up into the air. Seconds before it caught Kuro in its mouth, she jumped out of the way. Halfway through the jump, she held her hand out which caused a glowing star to appear before splitting into four and sending towards the wall behind Mew. As the stars shot at the wall, a light pink glow blew out while Kuro landed on the ground and started to run to the left, stopping when Mew appeared in-front of her. "There's no point in running away, Princess," the man informed, kicking her down to the ground. "Please stop," she mumbled. The man smiled as he clicked his fingers. As he did so, Mew shot up into the air. Kuro's eyes started to lightly glow. The man started to laugh as he kicked her to the side. "So am I going to finally see what the Princesses power is like?" he grinned, kicking Kuro to the side which caused her to flinch. "Your seriously weak, it looks like your about to collapse," the man observed. "I haven't done anything wrong, please let me go," she weakly mumbled. "That would be to boring, wouldn't it, Mew?" the man asked, glancing up at Mew who was hovering in the air. "I won't give up," Kuro mumbled, using her arms to help her sit up. Pink beams of light appeared, turning into a group of six small deco stars which zoomed towards the man, bursting as they hit the ground around him. Black blades appeared in the air, shooting towards Kuro who barely dodged out of the way. Blades shot passed her, scratching her leg as it zoomed past. THUD. "You are pretty weak," he sighed, stepping up to her. He kicked her down to the ground. A pale pink crescent moon shaped wave of light shot out, knocking the man backwards. Kuro quickly stood up before running around the corner. "Her powers are getting stronger," the man commented, glancing up at Mew before walking forwards. He quickly stretched out his hand. His other hand went into a fist and went against his hand. A few seconds later he pulled his hand which was in a fist away, pulling a silver Katana out from his hand. "Luckily I can summon more things then Mew," he added, popping around the corner and going to stab Kuro with the Katana however scratching her arm as she dodged it. A few drops of blood rolled down her arm.Bubbles of water suddenly wrapped around the man. A gunshot ringed through the air. Mew bursted into gold dust which blew away in the wind. Blood rolled down the man's forehead before falling forwards and landing on the ground. As Kuro fell forwards,a warm arm wrap around her stomach from behind her. A faint smell of antiseptic wipe drifted across the air. A blanket of warmth covered her. She opened her eyes to see that she was laying in her bed. "Are you okay? I got there before you collapsed," Minho explained, leaning on the bed. Kuro carefully sat up. "Was it you who caught me?" she weakly muffled. "Sorry, Did I grab you to tightly?" Minho apologized. "Thanks," Kuro shyly mumbled. "I bandaged up your cuts," he added, glancing at a bandage on her arm. "Thanks," she blushed. "If you were in trouble why didn't you call me or the others?" he complained. "I didn't want to bother you all again," Kuro admitted. "When did we say that you were bothering us?" Minho sighed, sitting up on the edge of the bed. "What were you doing in Shibuya anyway? Don't you live in Shinjuku?" she remembered. "I was worried about you," he flushed. Kuro's checks lightly blushed. "Anyway you should get some sleep, do you want me to stay for a bit?" he offered. "I'll be okay, thanks again," she mumbled. He pressed his lips against her check for a couple of seconds before pulling away. "Sweet dreams," he waved, walking out of the room and closing the door behind him. During their lunch break, Kuro and Mayu were sitting in the Akihabara park."Kuro-chan?" Mayu asked, glancing at Kuro who was looking down at the ground. "What's wrong?" she mumbled, glancing up at her. "Are you okay? You've been zooming in and out all day," Mayu expressed, taking a sip out of her can of Pepsi. "Sorry," she mumbled. "Did another demon try to attack you?" she guessed, watching Kuro nod. "Minho saved me before I got too injured," Kuro nodded. "Ah, Minho. One of the cute flower boys?" Mayu guessed. Kuro's checks flushed as she nodded. "That's good," Minho's voice grinned from behind her. Her checks blushed as she glanced at Mayu who nodded. "I'm going to see if Hina needs any help," Kuro blushed, standing up. Minho grabbed her hand before she ran off. Mayu grinned as she looked up at Kuro's bright red face. "I'm going to go get another can from the vending machine, do you want anything?" Mayu offered, standing up. "No thanks," Kuro blushed. "Be back in a minute," Mayu grinned before running of. "So you think I'm cute?" Minho grinned, causing Kuro's checks to blush again. "Do we really need to talk about that?" she mumbled. "Not really," Minho smiled. He sat down before pulling her down next to him. "Do they still hurt?" he asked, glancing at the tattoo tights with a white rabbit design printed on which was covering the bandages and cuts on her leg. "The pain isn't that strong at the minute," she mumbled, looking down at the grass. Her face continued to blush as Minho continued to hold her hand. "So that means that you still in pain," he reminded. Kuro awkwardly nodded. "Are you sure your okay after yesterday?" Minho wondered. "I'll be okay, sorry for worrying you," Kuro mumbled. "It's okay, I don't mind," he smiled, patting her on the head. "I should let you get back to work or whatever, your friend is watching anyway. Bye," he waved, moving his hand away from her before standing up and walking of. "Bye, thank you again," Kuro blushed. A few hours later. "It's so cold," Kuro sighed, zipping up her black jacket, that reached just past her hips, from the anime black rock shooter which had a white star printed on the back, a small star on the front and a blue flame on the hood. "I need to go shopping for a coat," Mayu nodded, closing her locker door. "Cute jacket by the way," she added. "Thanks, oh yeah, you have an exam tomorrow, don't you?" Kuro blushed. "It will be fine, science is easy for me," Mayu grinned. "Bye-bye," Kuro smiled once the train pulled up to the Shibuya station. "Bye, see you in two days," Mayu waved as the doors closed. Standing outside her apartment was Key, Jonghyun, Onew, Taemin and Minho. "It might be better if we talk about it in there," Key added, watching Kuro nod. "Minho told us that you were attacked again last night," Key started, leaning against the wall in her room as he crossed his arms. Kuro glanced at Minho who nodded. "We've been thinking about this since we all saved you two days ago and we've decided to ask," Minho continued. "Would you like to move in with us?" Onew offered. Kuro's checks turned red. "Move in?" she blushed. "We have a spare room which has a private bathroom," Taemin added. "And you won't have to pay rent or bills or anything, Onew's and Minho's company pays for all of them," Key informed. "Why would you want to live with me?" Kuro mumbled. "It will be easier to protect you, and plus we're all friends right?" Taemin smiled. "Are you sure?" Kuro mumbled. "Of course," Jonghyun nodded. "If its not to much of a problem, I'm okay with it," she blushed. Key smiled as he wrapped his arms around her. "Yay, we have another room-mate now," he smiled. That night they packed up all her belongings. "I'll pick you up from Shinjuku station tomorrow at seven then," Taemin added. "Okay," Kuro nodded. "Good night," Key softly smiled before they left. "I'm going to be living with five guys," Kuro sighed. The next the day at work the cafe took a while to get busy as most people were at school. "Rino-chan!" Kuro beamed. "Hi," Rino waved. "How was it?" Kuro asked. "The Athletic maid passed," Rino boasted. "That's good," Kuro smiled, linking arms with her. "Your one step closer to becoming an professional ice-skater," she beamed. Rino nodded as fixed the bow in her hair. As soon as her shift was over, she rushed to the train station. "Now approaching Shinjuku station" a voice called through the train. Kuro quickly stood up however as the train jolted forwards, she bumped into someone. "Sorry," she blushed. "It's no problem, Princess," a male voice smiled. Looking up, she saw a Korean boy with brown hair.
"Sungjong!" she smiled. "Hi, Long time no see," he grinned. The train doors slowly opened. "This is my stop," she added. "You live here now?" Sungjong guessed. "Yep, what about you?" Kuro blushed. "In Shin-o-buko," he explained. "I need to get going," she sighed. "Right, i'll contact you about meeting up or something?" he offered. "Sounds good," Kuro smiled. She waved before jumping onto the platform. "Bye," he waved as the doors closed. Outside of the station was Taemin who was looking down at his phone. Kuro pulled her pastel pink Rilakkuma headphones down to her neck. "Sorry, were you waiting long?" she panicked. "Iv'e just gotten in a couple of minutes ago as well," Taemin explained. His checks slightly blushed as he looked to the side. "Anyway lets go,it's cold," he added, taking of his black jacket and wrapping it over Kuro's shoulders. "I'll be okay, you would be cold if your not wearing it!" she blushed. "I'm fine, I don't want you to be cold," he admitted. "Thanks," she blushed. They were walking for another ten minutes until Taemin stopped walking. A tall building stood in-front of them.
"Ready?" Taemin asked, glancing down at Kuro who nodded. A smile formed on his face as he patted her on the head, causing her to look up at him. He smiled again as her checks blushed. After taking the lift to the ninth floor, Taemin showed Kuro to the apartment at the end of the hallway. He pulled a key with a black cat paw-print key topper and a pikachu key-chain hanging of the end. "Sorry there's not much room," he sighed after unlocking the door to revel the entrance way was filled with shoes. "It's okay," Kuro lightly giggled. Taemin kicked the shoes on the bottom to the side. "Someone needs to start keeping their shoes in their room," he added, glancing up at the in-built shoe rack which was filled with shoes. They both carefully took their shoes of, neatly placing them by the side. "It feels kinda awkward," Kuro admitted. "Don't worry about it, we're all friends so it won't take long for you to feel comfortable," Taemin reasured. Minho, Jonghyun, Key and Onew were sitting on the white sofa in the room to the left which was opposite. Jonghyun was absorbed in a manga he was reading while Minho's laptop was connected to an extension chord and was busy on Tumblr. Onew was watching an anime on TV while Key was on his ipad. "We're home," Taemin called out. "Hi," Minho smiled, glancing over at Kuro. "Hi," she blushed. "The Pizza will be here in about twenty minutes," Onew remembered."Anyway, I'll show you around," Jonghyun interrupted, standing up. Opposite the entrance way was the kitchen. To the left of the entrance way was a door leading to a bathroom. The living room was to the left with a large balcony on the back wall. Along the left wall was a large cream sofa covered in pillows. On the floor in-front of it was a large, fluffy rug with a table on-top which had a manga in the middle. On the right wall was the TV stand with the large TV on-top and a collection of games of DVDs on the floor around it. A large hallway went out of the living room. To the left was Taemin's room with Minho's room next to it and Key's room next. At the end of the hallway was Kuro's room with an on-suite bathroom. To the right was Jonghyun's room followed by Onew's and then it was the kitchen. "If you need anything just come to my room," Jonghyun smiled. "Are you sure?" Kuro blushed. Jonghyun patted her on the head. "Of course," he nodded. A loud knock echoed through the walls. "I'll get it," Onew stated, picking money up of the side. "Has the pain gotten any better?" Minho asked as Kuro sat down next to him. "Slightly," she nodded. "It smells so good," Onew smiled as he walked around the corner holding two pizza boxes. After eating. "Do you want me to show you your room?" Key offered. "If that's okay," Kuro nodded."I decorated your room,I don't know if you'll like it know," he added. "Really? Thank you!" Kuro smiled. Her room was at the end of the hallway. "Sorry if it looks bad," Key apologized as he pushed open the door to revel the pink room inside.
"It's so cute!" Kuro beamed, causing Key to smile. "You look cuter when you smile," he flushed, ruffling her hair. Later that evening. "What do you think of her?" Minho asked, sitting down on Onew's bed. "Cute and shy. I hope she opens up to us a bit more, what about you?" Onew responded. "I agree with you," Minho agreed. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" Onew mumbled. Minho busted out laughing. "I'm serious," Onew mumbled, leaning back against the wall. "It's just that I'm not the only one," laughed Minho. "You too?" Onew guessed. "Yup," nodded Minho. The next morning the smell of pancakes filled the apartment. "Morning," Onew called from the stove in the kitchen as he heard Kuro yawn behind him. He was wearing a short sleeved grey top with a black skull imprinted on the front, a pair of blue pajama trousers decorated in pink and yellow hearts and a pair of small purple and white stripped socks. "Do you want any help?" she muffled through her hand. "It's okay, I'm used to cooking," he smiled. As he turned around, his face blushed as he looked at Kuro's pink hello Kitty pyjamas.
"C-Cute," he blushed, covering his mouth. Kuro's checks turned red. Someone patted her on the head from behind her. Looking up, Kuro saw Jonghyun who was wearing a white, short sleeved top with a black Micky mouse print printed in the centre of the front with 'Micky mouse' written in black above it, blue pajama trousers decorated in white swirls. "Shouldn't you be cooking?" Jonghyun asked. Onew suddenly remembered that he was cooking and tuned around. Kuro covered her mouth as she giggled. Jonghyun pulled Kuro's hood up, wrapping his arms around her shoulders from behind her. "Jonghyun!" she blushed. He smiled as he patted her on the head."Morning," Minho yawned from behind them. He was wearing a short sleeved white supernatural top with the pentagram in the middle and light blue pyjama trousers. "We're having breakfast on the sofa," Onew called from the kitchen. "Okay," Minho nodded, walking over to the sofa. "So hungry," Key yawned, walking around the corner. He was wearing a short sleeved white top with a black Cheshire cat outline printed on and a pair of pastel blue pyjama trousers decorated in dark blue patterns. He sat down next to Minho, picking up the TV remote. Onew came in holding three plates topped with pancakes. He placed the down onto the table while Jonghyun and Kuro sat down on the sofa. A pair of arms wrapped around Kuro's waist from behind her, causing her to jump. Taemin was leaning over the sofa. Kuro's face turned bright red.He was wearing a short sleeved white top with a red rectangle in the centre with Mickey Mouse printed on top and a pair of pale pink pyjama trousers. "I have to go get changed," Minho commented, taking another bite before standing up. "I should get to the cafe," Key announced, standing up. "You work in a cafe?" Kuro asked. "One in Korea town," Key nodded, patting Kuro on the head before going to his room. When does your shift start?" Jonghyun wondered, looking up at Taemin. "At 11," Taemin informed. "Shouldn't you get ready so you can start heading to the Ghibli Museum?" Jonghyun guessed. "You work at the Ghibli Museum?" Kuro guessed. "Yep," Taemin nodded, standing up. "Where about's do you work?" Jonghyun wondered as Key left the room. "Akihabara, what about you?" Kuro responded. "A Cosplay store in Akihabara," Jonghyun responded,"Do you want to go to work together?" he offered. Kuro nodded. "Okay," she blushed. They both took there empty plates into the kitchen before getting changed. "So I have a question," Kuro added. "What's wrong?" Jonghyun wondered, pressing the button on the lift. "Onew was the one who cooked breakfast, so does everyone have their own chore?" Kuro asked. "Yeah. Onew's is cooking. Taemin is in charge of laundry. Minho is in charge of rubbish and Key's is cleaning," Jonghyun informed. "What about mine?" Kuro wondered. "We're lucky, we don't get one," he smiled. "It makes me feel useless though if I don't help," Kuro mumbled. "Your not useless," he reasured. Later that day. Sungjong placed the tray of food down onto a table in Mcdonalds. "Are you sure your okay with paying?" Kuro asked. "Of course, you only got an ice cream anyway," he reminded, sitting down opposite her. "I haven't seen you since you dropped out of school," Sungjong added. "Sorry I didn't tell you I was dropping out," Kuro mumbled. "Well at least we kept talking to each other through the internet," Sungjong expressed. Kuro awkwardly nodded as she took the lid on her ice cream of. "So how have you been?" he wondered, taking a sip out of his strawberry smothie. "Okay, what about you?" Kuro mumbled. "I'm okay, you would tell me if something was happening, right?" he responded. Kuro looked down at the ground. "I'm not sure that I can tell you," Kuro mumbled. "Your not still worried about Miyamoto are you?" Sungjong guessed. "She said she hated me as I got along with you," Kuro nodded. "Well I'm not going out with her, you know," he added, causing Kuro to glance up. "Since when?" she asked. "Miyamoto Rei was a bad choice, all she did was hurt you. I'm sorry," Sungjong responded. "Did you dump her because of me?" Kuro mumbled. "Of course," Sungjong nodded, taking a bite out of his chicken nuggets. "Sorry," Kuro mumbled, looking down at the ground. "Hey! We're childhood friends, are bond is stronger then with some bully," Sungjong reasured. As Kuro looked up at him, he smiled. "It's officially been three days since you moved in with them, are you good friends with them?" Mayu wondered while her and Kuro were walking home from work. "Weirdly we were friends before," Kuro admitted. "Only after a few days?" Mayu expressed, watching Kuro nod. "Well this is my way, see you tomorrow!" Mayu waved before walking over the overpass over the road. "Bye," Kuro blushed. Only a few people were on the train. A tall man with dark red hair sat down next to her. His outfit consisted of a simple long sleeved white shirt, a black waistcoat, a loose black and white checkered tie and black trousers. Ten minutes later the train arrived in Shinjuku station. Without pulling down her headphones, Kuro carefully stepped onto the platform. While walking down an alleyway of buildings she turned down her music as she could tell that the man who sat next to her on the train was following her. The man suddenly gripped onto her arm from behind her, pulling her into the alleyway. As Kuro tried to pull away, his grip increased as his other arm wrapped around her shoulders. "I would stop trying to fight, Princess," he whispered. Kuro tried to pull away from him however his strong grip meant she couldn't move away and her headphones had fallen down around her neck. "How long does it take to kill the Princess?" he questioned. "Please.. let me go," she mumbled, trying to pull her arm away from his. "Your sixteen, right?" he asked which caused Kuro to stop trying to pull away. He quickly let go of her hand and got a pair of scissors out of his pocket, leaning it against Kuro's wrist. "Your jacket is from that anime where the girl with black hair has a blue flame coming out of her eye, right?" he asked. Kuro nodded her head. "It looks pretty cute on a cute girl," he admitted. Kuro stood on his foot, which caused him to let go of her. She quickly started to run off. "Stupid girl," he snickered. Black lights drifted to the side as the man suddenly appeared in-front of her which caused her to bump into him and full backwards. THUD. "My powers mean I can transport myself," he responded, looking down at Kuro who shuffled backwards on the ground. He loosened his tie before unbuttoning the top three buttons of his shirt. The moonlight bounced of the scissors in his hand. Kuro quickly used her arms to help her stand up before running of. "There's no point in running away," he reminded, suddenly appearing in-front of her again. He kicked her backwards into the alleyway. "Can't you just be an obedient little Princess?" he sighed, walking closer to her while she shuffled backwards, bumping into the wall. "There's no where to run," he smiled, crouching down in-front of her. He pulled her bag away from her, throwing it across the alleyway before searching through her pockets. "Don't want you calling your Aces," he added, holding up her phone before throwing it. She went to stop him from throwing her phone however was just pushed backwards against the wall. "Your not hiding any weapons, are you?" he asked, watching Kuro shake her head. "Please... let me go," Kuro begged. The man grinned as he kicked Kuro down to the ground. She went to stand up however he pushed her down to the ground before sitting on-top of her legs.He rolled up the sleeve on her right arm before making a few scratches with the blade on the scissors which caused Kuro to flinch. She kicked him where it hurts, causing him to move to the side. She shuffled backwards before standing up and running of. The boy grabbed her arm, stopping her from running away. "No running away, princess," he commented. "Please let go of me," Kuro cried, trying to pull away. The boy pushed her against the wall. Kuro's legs felt weak, causing her to fall down onto her knees. The boy crouched down in-front of her, ramming the scissors into her stomach, causing Kuro to flinch. He slowly pulled it out. Blood dropped onto the ground. He stood up, kicking Kuro to the side. She sat up, strands of her hair falling in-front of her. The man kicked her back down to the ground. She started to cough up blood. The man bursted out laughing as he kicked Kuro to the side. Glowing star shaped beams appeared. The glow started to grow brighter.
The stars landed on the ground around the boy, sending out pink sparks. The beams sent out a pink glow. "Stupid Shinigami," he moaned, dodging out of the way. A cling echoed through the air as he pulled out another pair of scissors. He rushed towards her. As one of the scissors sliced into her arm, she weakly held out her right hand. A pale rainbow coloured light appeared. The beam shot away, knocking him backwards out of the alleyway. The man carefully used the wall to stand up. "So that's what the Princesses power is like," he added, wiping blood away from his mouth. He looked towards Kuro who was clutching onto her arm. "Hey, kid," he shouted out, causing Kuro to look up at him. "I'm ending our game here today, have fun!" he waved as he suddenly disappeared. Jonghyun was sitting in his room when his phone started to ring. "Hello?" he answered, reading a manga. "Jonghyun, where are you?" Kuro's voice mumbled. "At the apartment, why?" he responded. "Can you please come to the alleyway by 7-eleven?" Kuro cried. He quickly sat up. "What's wrong? What happened?" he panicked. "Please," Kuro mumbled before dropping her phone. Jonghyun picked up his jacket before rushing to the front door. He ran as fast as he could, not stopping until he got to an alleyway opposite the nearby 7-eleven store. "Kuro?" he called out, getting his phone out of his pocket. As a light shot out of the back of his phone, he noticed a few drops of blood in-front of him, leading behind the bin. Without thinking he ran behind the bin to see Kuro leaning against the wall. Her head was leaning forwards slightly. Blood and cuts covered her.Her phone was down by her side. "Kuro!" he panicked, rushing over to her. Checking her pulse, he quickly took of his jacket, wrapping it around her shoulders. "We'll be home soon," he added, wrapping his arms around her, picking her up Princess style before standing up, picking up her phone on the way. On the roof top of the building behind them was a tall figure. "So that's the Princess," a male voice commented. . The moonlight sparkled, showing his short pale pink hair.

Chapter 2-The broken clock
"Anyone home?" Onew called out, closing the front door. The only light was coming from Jonghyun's room. "Everyone else must be out," he sighed, taking of his shoes, noticing Kuro's shoes at the side. "She's here?" he guessed, stepping over the step. A drop of blood was on the floor. "Kuro!" he panicked, rushing around the corner until he got to Jonghyun's room. The door slamming open attracted the attention of Jonghyun who looked up at Onew. The walls were white with a few anime posters stuck on. Opposite the door was the window with dark blue curtains covering it. Under the window and in the left corner of the room was a double bed with a light blue duvet over top. Anime plushies were along the bottom of the bed. A book shelf was at the end of the bed covered in manga and a DVD rack was next to it covered in anime DVDs and anime figures.A black wardrobe stood in the right corner of the room.A dark blue Kotatsu was in the middle of his room covered in anime magazines, his laptop, his phone and a pair of headphones. A tiger kigurumi was hung up on the back of his door.Blue fairy-lights hung from the ceiling. Jonghyun was sitting on the floor next to his bed while Kuro was asleep in his bed.Bandages were wrapped around her cuts. A few bruises from when she was kicked around started to show. "What happened?" Onew panicked, rushing over to the bed. "I got a call from her to meet her somewhere. As soon as I got there she was unconscious," Jonghyun explained. "Is she okay?" Onew asked, crouching down next to him. "I'm not sure, She's covered in too many cuts," Jonghyun responded. "I'll go call the others," Onew added, standing up. "Don't, they're busy so its not fair to worry them," Jonghyun reminded. "It's weird seeing you so serious," Onew expressed. "She's important to me, how can I not be serious?" Jonghyun responded. Twenty minutes later Minho and Taemin returned home. "We're home," Minho shouted out. "Onew? What's wrong?" Taemin asked, noticing Onew walking around the corner. "Go to Jonghyun's room," he responded, sounding worried. The boys exchanged glances before running around the corner. "Kuro!" Taemin panicked. "I didn't know what to do so I just brought her to my room and covered the cuts," Jonghyun informed, using the edge of the bed to push himself up. "I didn't think it would get this bad," Minho admitted, walking over to the bed and placing his hand against her forehead. "She doesn't have a temperature but her clothes are covered in blood," he added. "So we need to change her clothes," Taemin acknowledged. Shortly after Key came home. Straight away he smelt Kuro's blood and had rushed to Jonghyun's room. Four hours later. Jonghyun had fallen asleep on the floor, with his back to the bed and head resting on his arms. Jonghyun smelt a faint, sweet scent and felt someone tug his sleeve. Opening his eyes, he saw white hair. "Sorry for waking you," Kuro mumbled. Jonghyun looked to the side to see Kuro leaning over his shoulder. "Your awake," he mumbled. He quickly moved up onto the bed, wrapping his arms around her, accidentally knocking her backwards on the bed. "I was really worried about you," he admitted, looking down at her."Your pressing to hard," Kuro mumbled. Jonghyun quickly moved his arms away from her. "Sorry, I did my best to get rid of the pain," Jonghyun apologized, sitting down in-front of her. "Thanks," Kuro mumbled, looking down. Jonghyun patted her on the head. "Anyway, where is this?" Kuro asked, looking around the room. "My room," Jonghyun responded. "So this is your bed?" Kuro blushed. Jonghyun nodded. Jonghyun ruffled her hair. "Don't worry nobody's done anything weird, iv'e been here since we got home, well besides when Taemin changed your clothes," he reasured. Kuro moved her hair back into place as she looked down to see that she was wearing a short sleeved, black top which reached just past her hips and had a white outline of the Cheshire cat in the middle. Jonghyun patted her on the head. "So, what happened?" Kuro asked. "Wrong person asking the question," he responded. "A demon turned up on the way home," Kuro mumbled. "Thanks for calling me back there," Jonghyun added. "Wasn't that annoying?" Kuro mumbled. "Of course not!" he expressed, ruffling her hair. "How much does it hurt?" he asked. "It's okay, I can manage," she mumbled. "I'm going to go wake up the others," he added, ruffling Kuro's hair before leaving the room. "I used my powers," she mumbled, looking down at her hand. A pair of arms suddenly wrapped around her stomach from behind her. Looking to the side, she saw Onew. "I was really worried," he admitted, looking into Kuro's eyes. "I'm not pressing against any of the cuts, am I?" he asked. "Your close though," she mumbled. Onew moved his arms away from her. "Lets go out into the living room," he added. Kuro nodded as she went to sit up however pain rushed through her. Her checks turned red as she fell on Onew's lap. "Are you okay?" he flushed, helping her up. "Sorry," she nodded. Onew helped her stand up. Key and Minho were both asleep on opposite ends of the sofa. "I'll go get you food," Onew remembered before rushing off into the kitchen. "It really hurts," she quietly cried, pressing down on the cut on her stomach. Her legs felt weak, causing her to full down onto her knees. "Kuro?" Minho's voice panicked as he quickly moved from the sofa to in-front of her. She weakly looked up at him. "I'll go get you painkillers," he added, going to stand up however stopped as he felt Kuro grip onto his sleeve. He sighed before wrapping his arms around her, carrying her to the sofa before gently placing her down next to Key. Kuro lightly poked Key's check. As he opened his eyes, he pulled her down onto his lap, wrapping his arms around her back as she faced him. "I'm not hurting you, am I?" he asked, looking down into Kuro's eyes. "No more then it was, don't worry," Kuro mumbled. Key wrapped his hand around the back of Kuro's head, pulling her closer to him. Both of their checks blushed as he kissed her on the check. "Am I invisible?" Minho moaned, sitting down on the sofa. "What happened to the guy that did this to you?" Key asked, gently pulling Kuro backwards. "I'm not sure, he walked of" Kuro mumbled. "Do you remember what he looks like?" Minho added, exchanging glances with Key. Kuro nodded as she looked down. Taemin rushed around the corner, wearing his pajamas, followed by Jonghyun. "You can't worry us like that again,"Minho sighed, kissing Kuro on the forehead. "Sorry," Kuro blushed. "Are you feeling okay? Your not in pain, are you?" Taemin wondered, sounding worried as he crouched down in-front of Kuro. "They don't hurt that much," Kuro mumbled. "That much?" Minho repeated. Onew came back in the room with a plate filled with omelet rolls. He placed them down onto the table in-front of Kuro. Onew sat down next to Key. "Do you want any help with eating?" Onew offered. "I'll be fine," Kuro blushed. "I should get some sleep, will you be okay?" Minho asked, remembering seeing her in pain when he woke up. Kuro nodded. "Well night," he sighed, patting her on the head as he walked past. "Kibum, why are you still pulling her down onto your lap?" Onew complained, watching Kuro eat. "We're both comfy so its fine," Key responded, taking a bite out of the omelet roll Kuro was about to eat. "I'm fine with sitting on the sofa," she added, glancing around at Key. "Jonghyun, go get some sleep. You were waiting next to her all this time," Onew ordered. "You were waiting for me to wake up?" she mumbled, looking up at him. He nodded as his face flushed. "I'm going to get some sleep, bye," he waved before leaving the room. "Are you sure your okay?" Onew asked, sitting down on the sofa. "I'll be okay," Kuro nodded. Onew's face turned bright red as he remembered when Kuro fell on his lap. "Jinki, what are you thinking?" Key complained. "Nothing," he blushed as he exchanged a glance with Kuro who had a blank look on her face. "Anyway how long are you going to pull her down onto your lap?" he asked. Key moved his arms away from her. "I'm no forcing her down on my lap," Key responded. Kuro quickly stood up, bumping into the table and falling down onto her knees. "Ow," she cried. "Your seriously are clumsy," Onew sighed, helping her stand up. "Coming from you and your Onew Condition," smiled Key. "I'm going to get some sleep, once you finished eating go get some sleep. Shout my name if you need anything," Onew commented before leaving the room. After she finished eating, Key carried her plate to the kitchen before walking her to her room. The next morning. Minho sat down on the sofa. He got a black SIG Pro semi-automatic pistol out of his pocket, checking all the bullets were inside. "Why do you have a gun?" Kuro asked in-front of him, causing him to jump. "Kuro..." he sighed, putting the gun back into his pocket. Doesn't it hurt to stand up?" he sighed, pulling her down onto her lap which caused her to blush. "Your ignoring my question," Kuro mumbled, looking up at him. "The company I Work at, we need guns as we fight supernatural creatures," he explained. Kuro carefully picked his gun out of his pocket. "Isn't it scary using it?" she asked. "Didn't you see me use a gun the other day?" Minho sighed, pulling the gun away from her and placing it down on the table. "Anyway your still wearing my top," he added, glancing down at his top which Taemin changed Kuro into as Minho is the tallest so the top would be bigger on her. "This is yours?" she blushed, watching Minho nod. Minho smiled as he patted her on the head. "It looks cute on you," he grinned. Kuro checks blushed as she looked away. "T-Thanks," she blushed. "I'm happy your okay with sitting on me," he smirked, causing Kuro's checks to blush even more. She quickly moved onto the sofa. "So you put shorts on," he sighed. "Pervert!" Kuro blushed, picking up a pillow of the sofa before throwing it at him. Pain rushed through her. "Hey! Kuro!" he panicked, placing his hands on her shoulders. "I'm okay," she mumbled. "Are you sure?" he asked. Kuro nodded. Minho pinched her checks. "Your seriously cute," he sighed, looking down into her eyes. Kuro's checks blushed as she looked away. "Do you want me to kick you?" Key complained, appearing behind them. "She''s not even sitting on my lap now," Minho responded, watching Key's expression. "You pervert," he moaned, picking up a pillow. "Hey, Kibum, calm down," Minho responded, sounding worried. A pillow suddenly hit him in the face. "What's happening?" Taemin asked, sitting down next to Kuro. "I'm not sure," Kuro mumbled, ducking as a pillow shot towards them however ended up hitting Taemin in the face. "Breakfast is ready," Jonghyun added from the doorway. "I need to get to work," Taemin sighed, finishing the last bite of his breakfast before heading to his room to get changed. "Me too," Minho nodded, following him out of the room. "I have to go, bye," Onew waved. Jonghyun kissed Kuro on her forehead before leaving the table and going to his room. After a few minutes he came back. "Bye," Jonghyun smiled, ruffling Kuro's hair before leaving the apartment. Kuro changed out of Minho's top and into a pair of pastel pink pajamas and matching over the knee socks.
"Luckily this coveres the cuts," she sighed, crouching down in-front of the washing machine, placing Minho's top in. Key sat down behind her, pulling the hood on her pyjamas up over her head. "You don't have to worry about things like that," he added. Kuro turned around to face him, sitting down with her feet behind her. "I feel bad otherwise," she admitted. Key ruffled her hair before helping her stand up. "Don't you have to work today?" Kuro wondered. "I called in saying I was ill," he responded. "You don't have to stay at home because of me," she blushed. "I would be worrying that I left you on your own when your hurt," he explained, patting her on the head. "Thanks," Kuro smiled, causing Key to blush. Key smiled, patting her on the head. "You look cuter when you smile," he blushed. Later that day. "I'm home," Onew called, carrying a shopping bag as she walked around the corner. "Today's dinner is going to be interesting," he added, holding up the bag. "I think we should be worried," Key expressed, looking up form his ipad. "I'm back," Minho called, walking around the corner. "The food smells really good," Taemin smiled, taking of his shoes at the entrance way. "Dinner will be ready in about ten minutes," Onew added from the kitchen. "I'm going to get changed," Taemin added, patting Kuro on the head before going to his room. The front door opened. "I'm home," Jonghyun called, taking of his shoes after closing the door. Jonghyun crouched down in-front of Kuro, placing a anime printed shopping paper bag onto her lap. "What is it?" Kuro wondered. "A get well soon present," he smiled. Inside was ; a packet of five Love live badges, A super sonico Plushie, A pastel pink seifuku, A keyring of Yui from the anime K-on wearing a maids uniform and a purple Hello Kitty bunny styled plushie keyring. "Thank you," she beamed, quickly hugging him. A smile popped onto Jonghyun's face as his checks turned red. "That's good," he smiled, patting her on the back of her head. The next day Kuro went back to work. "Kuro! Are you okay?" Rino asked as she watched Kuro come into the cafe. "I'm okay, sorry for worrying you," she apologized, bowing slightly. "Are you feeling better? What happened?" Rino questioned. "I'm okay, I got hurt a little so I couldn't move that well but I'm okay now," Kuro reasured. "I'm just glad your feeling okay," she sighed. "They're so cute," Rino smiled, spotting the love live buttons on Kuro's pastel pink Randoseru bag which also had the the keyrings hanging down. "Thanks, my friend brought them for me," Kuro blushed. "Boyfriend?" Rino guessed, causing Kuro's checks to blush. "He's just a friend," she blushed. "For now," Rino waved before going back to work. Kuro somehow was able to work through the pain. After her shift. "See you tomorrow!" Mello waved. "Bye," Kuro smiled before leaving the cafe. "It's cold tonight," she sighed, zipping up her black rock shooter jacket. "Princess," a familiar male voice grinned from in-front of her. Kuro stopped walking as she saw the boy who had tried to kill her two days ago. "Oh right, call me Kai," he introduced. "Are you here to try to kill me again?" she mumbled, taking a step backwards. "I'm just bored," Kai responded. "So you work in a maid cafe," he added, watching Kuro nod. "Do they still hurt?" he asked, stepping forwards. Kuro nodded, stepping backwards. "So your scared of me," Kai grinned, stepping forwards. "Do you blame me after what you did?" she mumbled, stepping backwards. "Wouldn't you rather talk about this somewhere else?" Kai offered. "I need to go," Kuro mumbled, slightly bowing before walking of. She suddenly bumped into someone. "Do you keep forgetting I can teleport?" Kai asked from in-front of her. He grabbed her wrist before walking of. "Can you let go please?" she mumbled. "You're going to try to run off," Kai reminded. "Your pressing too hard against the cuts on my arm," Kuro mumbled. "Oh, right," he remembered, losing his grip. He dragged her into an alleyway, pushing her down to the ground. "If you move I'm going to have to hurt you again," he warned, sitting down in-front of her. "Why do you want to talk to me?" Kuro asked, shuffling backwards, bumping into the wall. "We barely got a chance to talk last time," he added. "Because you were trying to kill me," Kuro mumbled. "Don't be stubborn," Kai responded, moving in-front of her and pulling up her hood. "Why here though?" she mumbled, looking down at the ground. "Didn't think you would want to talk about Shinigamis and demons in Mcdonalds," Kai responded. Kuro nodded, not looking up. "It's good that I'm finally not in formal clothes," Kai expressed, leaning backwards on his hands. His outfit consisted of jeans, a short sleeved white top and a black and white stripped jacket. "Why were you wearing a suit?" Kuro mumbled. "I'm 19 so I was trying to apply for a job," he explained. "Where?" she mumbled. "Just an anime making company," Kai responded, causing Kuro to glance up at him. "I like drawing and I don't fail at it," he explained. "Good luck with it," Kuro mumbled, still looking down as she was playing with the U-KISS phone charm hanging of her phone. "It's good that I didn't break your phone," Kai smiled, watching her. "If you stabbed me again I probably would of died," Kuro mumbled. Kai leaned forwards, pulling her hood backwards slightly which caused her to look up at him. "Twin tails suit you, you look really cute with them," he added, pulling the scissors out of his pocket. He pushed her back against the wall, bring the scissors up next to one of her twin tails, pressing the edge of the scissors against her check. "I can always cut off your hair," he threatened. Kuro slightly nodded as she looked down at the ground. He grinned as he moved the scissors away from her hair. "Your a really interesting girl," he smiled. "I'm not that interesting," Kuro mumbled. "Your cute, works in a maid cafe, I presume you live with your Aces who are all guys, you like anime, and Kpop and on-top of that your the Shinigami princess," he responded, picking up her phone and looking at the phone strap. He unlocked her phone before going through the pictures. "You don't have much pictures of yourself," Kai commented. Kuro sat up, stopping when Kai pressed the scissors closer to her check. A faint pain formed as small drops of blood rolled down her check. She flinched as Kai moved the scissors away, revealing a small cut. "You shouldn't of moved," he sighed. "I thought you didn't want to hurt me," Kuro mumbled. Kai moved the scissors down to her neck. Kuro glanced up at him. "You should get home or the Aces are going to worry, I'll take you," Kai informed, standing up before pulling her up. "I'm okay on my own," Kuro mumbled, trying to pull away. Kai pulled her closer to him. "A demon might attack you anyway, you should know I'm fine with killing someone," Kai reminded. "Your saying that you want to protect me while holding a pair of scissors to me," Kuro mumbled. Kai moved the scissors away from her, putting them in his pocket. "Happy now?" he asked, watching Kuro nod. "Let's go to the station, right?" he asked. Kuro nodded. "Can you let go of me, please?" she mumbled. "You would run away," he reminded. "You know where I work, It's not like I can hide from you," Kuro mumbled. "That's true," he nodded. "I'm okay with walking on my own from here," Kuro added, tugging on the edge of her sleeves. "You don't want me to know where you live," he guessed. "The guys would be there anyway, they wouldn't let you go," Kuro mumbled. "So your trying to help me?" he smiled. Kuro looked up at him. "Not really," she mumbled. "Oh right, what's your name?" he remembered. "Yukimura Kuro," she mumbled, stepping to the side. "I'll see you another day, Kuro," he smiled. As soon as she got home, Minho who was the only one home, dragged her to his room. In the left corner of the room was a double bed covered in a light blue duvet. A cat plushie was next to his pillows. In-front of the bed was a small glass table with a black Dell laptop in the middle and a phone and headphones next to it. Opposite the table was a TV stand with a white flat-screen TV facing the bed. A pile of Kdrama DVDs and movie DVD's were down by the side. A white curtain with panda's decorated on was covering the window at the back of his room. A frog Kirguma was hanging on the back of his wardrobe. The right side of his room had a large white wardrobe. A glass cabinet was at the back with a five anime figures on.He lightly pushed Kuro down onto the edge of the bed before starting to take care of the cut on her check. "What, the guy who did all that to you turned up again and knows where you work?" Minho asked, watching Kuro nod. "I don't know what to do about it," she nodded, flinching as Minho wiped an antiseptic wipe against the cut on her check. "But you don't want to tell the others," he continued, watching Kuro nod. "They're going to be able to see the plaster or cut," he reminded. "I could of scratched it on a wall or something," Kuro mumbled as Minho placed a plaster down over the cut. "You want me to lie for you?" he asked. Kuro nodded as she held her pinky-finger out. "Fine, but only because you want me to," he nodded, linking his pinky with hers. They both pressed their thumps against each others before letting go. "So this is what your room looks like," Kuro added. "It's pretty boring," he nodded, sitting next to her. "Good to see you don't have anything inappropriate," Kuro smiled. Minho's face blushed. "I don't watch or read stuff like that!" he blushed, pinching her checks. His heart beet raced as he looked down at Kuro. "I'm home," Taemin's voice called from the front door. Minho sighed, moving his arms away from her. "It's been a couple of days since you got hurt. Hows your cuts?" Onew asked three days later. "I'm okay, almost all healed," Kuro nodded, taking a bite out of one of her Tamagoyaki.

A 185 cm tall Korean boy with light pink hair stood in-front of her.
" I'm Choi Junhong, call me Zelo," he introduced. "I'm Yukimura Kuro," Kuro mumbled."When the demon almost killed you with scissors... I was watching from a roof top," he admitted. "You were there?" Kuro mumbled, looking down at the ground.
