MEET THE LEADERS!

SEPTEMBER 14 - OCTOBER 1
( begins and ends @ 12AM, CST )

"Welcome to the Leaders' and Second in Commands' meet and greet!"

It's location is a rented out, large building, in the more quiet parts of Ikebukuro. Wouldn't want the cops to show up, would we? Inside, you'll find available food and drink, music, games etc. Party-esque items. Leaders' along with their second in commands, will address the audience upon arrival, and have a right to keep anything they wish confidential. We ask that you refrain from starting a fight, though it's none of our business if there is conflict between a gang. We're not gunna lie, you're potentially risking your war status by coming here. Especially if you have bad blood with a gang, or if a gang is generally dangerous.

INFORMATION
*MUST READ
  • Just like all events, this is optional. Leaders and Second in Commands do not have to attend if they don't want to. Along with gang members.

  • You're allowed to talk to other leaders' unaffiliated with your gang, as well.

  • Leaders and Second in Commands first posts in this event should be their introduction to an audience.

  • ....Then, gang members or other leaders can confront them, and, meet and greet. Ask questions, answer them, etc.

  • Please make your meet and greet RP short, as other people may want to RP with them.

  • Leaders, please update frequently whether you're available for a Meet and Greet RP; either post it individually, or include it in your RP posts.

    For example:
    "CLOSED"
    "OPEN"

  • People who wish to meet and greet with that leader, please check their last post to see if they are available or not, or check to see if someone's already RPing with them, and wait patiently until they are done.

    Lucinda Scarlet
    Steam Punks Leader
It was unusual for Lucinda to come to events. Why she came will forever be a mystery; Perhaps even for her. She's depicted as cold shouldered, and not the sociallite at all. But she wore a sly grin, as she addressed an audience that had circled around her. She was on a wide wooden platform, that stretched to both ends of the room. Elevated with just two steps, in front of a fire place. She couldn't seem to find any of her gang among the crowd when searching through the faces, and she had heard rumors directly from her members Reed might be here. Still keeping the grin in place, she ran a hand through her shaggy blonde hair. She didn't bother to dress up much; to her, anyway. She looked like a walking steam punk funeral, otherwise. Not to mention the eye-patch she wore over her right eye.

"Hello." Lucinda greeted them; It was a bone chilling tone. Maybe not to the bravest, but her voice was rather husky and gave off an ominous aura. "My name is Lucinda Scarlet. It's honestly just an alias I picked up. My real name's a secret." Lucinda held a manicured finger up to her lips. "I'm the leader of the Steam Punks." Obviously. "We're usually a pretty introverted gang. Not as... Popular as the ones you might be affiliated with." She licked her lips before continuing. "It might be dangerous for me to be here; there's been bad blood with me in the past." She admitted. Quite boldly, too, with a grin revealing a fang. It was probably a body modification; something she's known to be pretty interested in.

"I'm open to any questions you have for me. Oh, by the way," Lucinda said, putting a finger up as if she forgotten something. "Any of the rumors you heard about me and my gang..." Lucinda stopped, attempting to let a suspense sink in before continuing. "...Is probably true." Though her facial expression had darkened, she smiled broadly shortly after the last statement, while tilting her head cutely. She stepped off the slightly elevated platform that the audience had gathered around to create a stage. She slunk down at a nearby table, awaiting for someone to sit across from her, or approach her all together.

As long as there's whisky, I should be fiiiine, Lucinda thought, happily sipping the glass of whisky in front of her as the ice clinked lightly against the glass.

    Ines Rousseau
    Leader of Young Guns
Taking a sip from the Jack and coke sitting in front of her, Ines quirked an eyebrow, letting the speech that ended only a minute or two sink in. Lucinda Scarlet ... leader of the Steam Punks. I've heard her name before from Scarlet. I'll admit, she's not exactly what I expected. Then again, half the leaders are quite unpredictable. Ines let a bored sign escape her lips, uncrossing her legs and getting ready to stand. Seems it's my turn, I suppose.

As she walked towards the platform, she adjusted her right glove, a tick she's had since forever. You see, as good as she was at it, Ines hated speeches. She hated giving pep talk, introductions, guidence, and even "words of wisdom". Now she has to stand here and give a proper introduction to a bunch of imbeciles that she'll probably never see again. Whatever, let's just get this monkey's parade over and done with so I can go home. The raven-haired woman stood proud, and tall ... although she was short. Really short.

She cleared her throat and glared at the audience before her. Tch. "Greetings, brats. The name is Rousseau; Ines Rousseau. I am the leader of the new gang on the streets of Ikebukuro by the name of Young Guns. Although most gangs on the block wreak havoc and bullshit such as, Young Guns is a monochromatic and reserved gang, the type that it's only business, nothing personal. Because our tradition is based off the mafia and gangs as far back as the 1920s, we don't kill for the hell of it, nor do we start shit we can't handle. As leader, I have zero tolerance for ignorance, idiocy, backsass or unsanitary sanctions. Today is the only day I'll be taking in questions concerning the gang and I, so if you have some question you so badly need answered for some damn reason or another, hesitate to ask. Believe me, the intimidation hasn't even peaked yet."

Quite satisfied with her introduction, Ines stepped off the platform with a quick step, always walking with a type of swagger that read "places to go, and little time for your bullshit". She sat back down, crossing her legs, grabbing the glass and bringing it up to her lips. Let all hell break loose.

When both leaders leave the stage, the lights flicker off and the building becomes dead silent. Then as they flicker back on an eerie fog creeps from the stage and into the audience. There illuminated by the dim light is Nuria, wearing black heels, blue skinny jeans and a black leather jacket. Her red hair falls around her shoulders and lays on her chest and reaches her butt in the back, her green eyes seem to have a faint glow. She steps forward and grabs the microphone, she clears her throat and the lights flicker fully on. She smiles as she speaks, "Welcome. Name's Nuria, leader of the Devils Rejects. Quite the turnout we have here, I like that." She walks back and forth across the stage, staring at the audience, "Judging by the looks of you all I'm not sure if you'd be worthy of joining, much less fighting." She sighs as she gets back to the center, "But if you impress me, I'll reconsider. The Devils Rejects is-" She chuckles, "-well, quite the deadly bunch. Small in numbers but great in power. We hold quality over quantity. Sell the best drugs, throw the best parties and actually don't enjoy killing. Torture is more our forte." She shrugs, "Either way, we do what we can... or rather what we want. If you don't join us, or befriend us, well, then I suggest you stay out of our way." She puts the microphone back, "That's all." And steps off the stage, making her way over to the bar while catching a glance at Lucinda, now she interested her.

    Lucinda Scarlet
    Steam Punks Leader
Feeling eyes on her, Lucinda caught a glance at Nuria. Appearing uninterested at first, Lucinda proceeded to flash her a grin, deciding to get up and walk over for a quick chat. Couldn't hurt, right?

"Nuria, was it?" Lucinda asked as she approached Nuria. She sat at a stool at the bar, next to Nuria. "Nice introduction. Your gang has always been quite the interesting bunch." She noted with a chuckle. She gestured to the bartender to pour more whisky in her small glass. "You know," Lucinda began in a low, husky tone. "I was thinking of running a small drug business myself. I thought you could give me some tips on how to go about that," Lucinda flashed another smile, though this one was a bit ominous. Lucinda's demeanor, though not intended, seemed to always give off that she may be planning something. In this case, she was, but she'd never dream of taking over the Devil's Rejects drug cartel. It'd be too risky for her gang, let alone herself.

Nuria gave her attention in recognizing her speaking to her with a smile and nod, then she turned half her body to the bartender and said, "Red wine please, six ounce glass." Leaning on the bar and resting her head on her hand she playfully remarked after giving Lucinda a once over, "Hehe, Id be inclined to give you some tips but I'm afraid for business reasons that would be unwise. If you wanted to go into a contract to get involved in our operation of course, I'd oblige." She gave her a crooked smile, "Yes, we are an interesting bunch, your group not so much. However, you personally have peaked my interest." She leaned into and down into her face, she was a bit taller than her. "Enlighten me, where did you get those unique eyes? To the untrained eye I'm sure they look like contacts."

(Nuria as I explained from her bio is from a time where magic was very real and so were its creatures, not saying that your character is some form of that but from her perspective that's what she thinks)

    Lucinda Scarlet

Lucinda felt a bit offended at the remark; she thought her own group was quite interesting. It was her family, after all, but she pushed back any exasperated notions. She knew some of her group members were quite the prudes sometimes.

"Ah, I understand. It's a risky business. I'll have to contact you sometime," Lucinda smiled, rubbing the back of her neck. With the question, Lucinda grew a bit suspicious. Now this woman was definately interesting to Lucinda. She raised her eyebrows. "My eyes?" Lucinda questioned, feigning innocence. "Well, I'm not quite sure m'self. Genetics... I suppose," Lucinda reached up to touch the left side of her face; near the miscolored electric blue eye. As she did, a few sparks emitted out of her fingers, creating a small electrical surge that connected to her eye. She slowly retracted her hand from her face, as it stretched into a grin. She wasn't sure how safe it was to show Nuria, let alone anyone else these powers she seemed to have been born with. But it was no secret in battle, so why bother? "It's only natural to assume they're contacts." Lucinda chuckled, gesturing to her self, though what really stuck out aside from her eyes were the piercings she had on her ears. Even a lip and nose piercing, but she decided not to wear them on this occasion.

"The untrained eye, hm? I think you might know something not many are aware of."

( Heh heh, she's not too far off from the truth, then.~ Though Lucinda is human she has some kind of supernatural power. I wasn't sure how too sure how to go about it, but now I think I have an idea. )

Nuria smiled, "Hm." Then sipper her wine, "Untapped, even better." Then she shrugged and turned her back to the bar, leaning on it still with her elbows. "I know many things." She looked over the small crowd that was here, passing over Ines as well. "You may have heard some rumors about me... or at least you're about to. Truth is Ive been around much longer than any of you, technically. This group was created long ago, in a different time. I didn't like where it was going so I left. And here it is, still alive... barely, which is good because that means its vulnerable for reconstruction." She blinked and then looked at Lucinda, "Oh my, I'm rambling aren't I?" She put her hand in front of her mouth to cover up her giggle, "Anyways, if you'd like to discover more about your abilities," she pulls out a card and slides it to her on the table, "call me, maybe we can trade...a services of sorts." She chugged back the rest of her wine and then winked at her as she set the glass back down, then left the building.

(glad I could help! In her defense science was magic back then so you can go that route too if u want)

    REED VAN DEL
It was odd for Reed to be in any type of social gathering, since he wasn't the very social type (or at all). Usually, when he was invited to a party, an event or even just a casual gang meet up-- the young man was most likely not to go-- or at least, he stayed quite a distance away as he monitored the area. It was, pretty much what happened this time. A Leader and Second-in-command meet up, even tho he wasn't actually forced to go by the Leader, he felt the need to attend. (Which is pretty rare... acting on his own accord.)
And now there he was, standing in a corner with a glass of water (He doesn't seem to be very comfortable to drink here). The only visible red eye observing his surroundings, stopping at the Leaders who spoke on the platform, they intrigued him.

Reed was familiar with the first one-- of course he was, it was his 'boss' after all. He didn't need to pay attention to her speech, but he did so anyway. No visible signs were shown during this speech. Next was another woman, Ines Rousseau of Young Guns, it was a little early to build an opinion on her. After that was Nuria, Leader of Devil's Rejects... a gang he's had his eyes on for a while. It was a little biased to go for that as a demon hunter, but it wasn't farfetched. What caught his eye the most was when the beauty approached Lucinda. He made note to ask about that later on... for now, he simply watched as the other leaders stepped up to the microphone and said what they needed to say.

Staying still as a statue, Reed is probably taken for a regular member of a group which is perfectly fine for him, he has no intention of walking up there and saying anything. There wasn't really anything to say. No need to reveal his name, his position nor who he's affiliated with. It was something he liked to keep to himself (along with many other things).

(Reed doesn't wanna speech /shot. If I have to, I'll shove him up there hehe-- be brave my son.)

Synn strolled in late something he does frequently he was wearing a black and white suit wit a red tie. "I hate wearing clothes like this but when I have a meeting I need to look professional. I wonder who's here?" When he found the drinks he made himself a Manhattan than found a wall to lean against. He waited for someone to approach him.

    OON OSE
    The Grim Reaper

Reinessia stands the very top of the building, her hood up, and looking at the presented leaders, grining. She's here merely to observe, and gate crash the party. Well, not really. Just approaching one of them and creep the hell out of them with personal embarassing questions or weird stuff. She whips up her grimiore, a thick stick with two grips on each side. She parts them using grim magic, and it becomes a holographic tablet, written in Grim Language. She checks the tablet to see which leaders are attending. And what kind are them. There's a human, a witch, a were-tiger, and a demon, but only as the second in command. Her grin widens further, as she thinks that this will be interesting. She stands on the edge of the said building, and let herself fall, her hood removed due to the force of the air upwards. She lands on her feet gracefully, after jumping from hundreds of feet, and roses scattered in the wind. She enters the building, smiling at people she passes by, and enters the conference room.

    Reinessia Aerith Ernhart Coven
    (Reina Grandeur)
"Kukukuku~ This will be very much interesting! Mixed races and little of humans I detest! Event I cannot miss! now, let me take some selfies with them as background~ I'm pretty sure they woudn't mind because they don't know me after all... But I know them. Grim Reapers are born stalkers~ fufufu~"

She says softly, using her grimiore to take selfies with the leaders and second in commands as a backdrop. She takes several shots before being satisfied and stays at the corner, watching, and observing, with glowing cold gray eyes. She's a mere spectator, and would join them later, when everything has been laid bare in front of her eyes. To put it simply, she's here to see how the scenes unfold in front of her very eyes. And with that, she turns the invisibility on.

((Ahahaha I'm here to ruin the weddin-- I mean conference! XD ))
