I'm easily influenced by memes and I hate myself for it.

Science can influence me. I used to be influenced by those around me, but I found myself with my back against a wall and with no allies. My policy changed to "Trust no one, they'll all stab you in the back."

Not really. I would bet that my beliefs are correct, more correct, or just better than most, so you would have to hit me with some real facts to sway me. But if we're talking about stuff other than like opinions/beliefs than I'm probably in the middle of the road.

Depends. Sometimes I'll put my foot down and flat out say 'no', others I'll be quite easily made to do something. That or I'll just give up if some people have been pestering me to do something for 5 minutes straight.

It depends, verballly I tend to just pretend to agree and go along with what others say.
But I'm actually pretty stubborn.

It used to be pretty easy to influence me. I used to listen to a bunch of talk-radio pundits and as time went on I finally realized that just 'cause someone says something you like and agree with does not mean they have anything else that is worth listening to.

Now I've gone back to the stuff that got me into trouble when I was a little kid, QUESTION EVERYTHING!
If the people have a vested interest in telling you what they think you want to hear, you had better be asking questions about them and their ideals. Being a little cynical doesn't hurt.

Investigate! You learn things! Remember the past, you learn more things.

I say that I am not but I am probably influenced in ways I don't really think about.

Still, the ice bucket challenge is retarded. Anybody who has seen one of the water reservoirs in northern California will know how low they are running. And people choose to waste several days' worth of drinkable water to AVOID donating and justify their actions by saying the publicity gets people to donate?! Sorry, I don't buy it and nobody with any semblance of common sense will. The most intelligent response I've seen to a nomination for the challenge was a straight up $100 check donation to the cause without wasting a drop of water. And people still slighted her for being "not fun" or something. They probably just wanted to see her in a wet shirt.

And most of the funds aren't even going to the cause. This is just a ridiculous waste of a precious resource no matter what angle you approach it from. I've simply just avoided all the nominations and donated $20 in secret. I don't exactly have a lot but it's still more sensible than wasting a week's worth of fresh drinking water.

Well, I told myself I'd never drink but started hanging around people who do it and it kind of rubbed off on me if that says anything. lol I just won't get wasted. It really depends on the situation though. I'd never be influenced to do something that could hurt someone else.
