I believe we've been promised many months back that we were going to see some changes here rather soon. I remember way back in January when one of the managers of this site said we should see some major updates to the video player/servers towards the end of Q1 of this year. Now, we're closing in on Q4 and there still hasn't been anything close to what they have promised. Can we get some sort of clearance on this? I'm already extremely tired of the consistent freezing, stuttering, video randomly ending, etc etc... I haven't even been using my subscription that often anymore because of this nonsense...

Since you're a premium member isn't it faster to send a mail to the representatives? I mean the will most likely give you a statement about this of some sorts. Most answers to my questions get answered within two days. However I do recognize the streaming issues you're having. Sometimes it just freezes or need's a page refresh to get the page to respond. So just for information purposes:

I have been through this many times before. All they give is your standard copy and paste message about how they're "working on improving their service". Well, a year has almost passed now since this whole debacle and there is nothing.

same here,
no wonder that they have such low bitrates for their videos.
If they have such big problems getting a stable 720p/1080p stream even on my 25000 VDSL connection.
Maybe they should fix that and after that they could give us real 1080p bitrates *dreaming* (1800kb+).
Im not going to pay for a new whole year for such a bad connection on their end.

Yeah it's getting a little ridiculous. When I get home from work and I want to watch anime it's almost impossible sometimes. It's especially impossible tonight. Stuttering, Freezing, and the issue where the video just ends. Most of the time they claim it's just our connection. It's a pretty widespread issue at this point, but we still don't get any real answers. I want to give CR money, and I want to support the industry, but it's getting harder and harder to justify it at this point.

Just thought I would add another victim to the horrible choppy playback.

Never once have I posted a comment although I have been a paying member for a long long time.

Most of the videos cannot play all the way though without some sort of glitch. I pay for a premium service for a reason. To not have access or access that is limited due to failures on CR side is quite irritating. Especially when I see the way premium members are treated when asking about quality of service.

Shame on you Crunchyroll for your patronizing blanket statement that the issues are "On your end".

Be truthful. People are actually more open and patient when you are more transparent.

Now, if you would be so kind as to provide an answer to this thread/issue, I am sure it would be greatly appreciated.

PS3 just went dark for me, nothing will stream. Moved to the crap Roku app and am getting a stream but still can't help but notice inferior picture quality to my PS3. I wonder if the commercials on HuluPlus are worth a better Aldnoah:zero marathon...

You would probably finish the marathon faster with commercials from hulu then with the frustrating CR player "premium" service. The lack of constantly buffering or having to go back/reload after it skips to the next episode prematurely would be a much better experience even with hulu ads.

At this very moment alternatives to any anime streaming service is recommended if you can find them. I have already canceled my sub from reoccurring.
