Have you ever given up on an anime series?
Posted 2/1/08
I did that with Naruto. I got tired of skipping fillers. Bleach has bored me now. I haven't watched it since last year. So I'll just read the mangas. Maybe they get to the point.
Oh yeah, and Inuyasha too. Don't get me started on that show.

Naruto after the first episode, Bleach after all that damn filler, Lucky Star because it's boring as hell, InuYasha after the first season because all the other seasons were just like the first one but suckier, and that's all that feel like writing.

Rumbling Hearts, Negima and another harem anime. The former was just plain stupid and I got tired of breasts popping out or girls hitting on a little kid in the latter two.

Then there's another called something Nadesico where a group of boys were supposed to make over a girl in exchange for free board and lodging. I couldn't stand the too pretty boys. I mean, I like bishounen but that was too much. Yuck.

Deat Note, I gave up on it the first time but when I tried watching it a second time I managed to finish it. It was good though Light is psycho.

Inuyasha and Ranma, much as I enjoyed it, I got tired of watching the same thing over and over again. Naruto, too many flashback. Bleach, just more and more fighting.

I love Code Geass and Fruits Basket.

I gave up on Lucky Star cause it doesn't really have a story plot. The reason that a lot of people like it is because its moe. I also gave up on natsumiyo drops or something like that cause it reminds me of some kiddy show I watched when I was a little kid.

Hmm... I understand what you mean about Paranoia Agent but it's actually very good. Not something I'd watch again though but still good. Satoshi Kon directed two other good ones, Paprika and Tokyo Godfathers.

Naruto, Bleach, and Inuyasha. Those shows have episode that drag on and on. I find it a bit ridiculous.

Cha i didnt like negima either....but my reson was i couldnt get over the english voice actor- omg his voice bites so hard!

inu, nar, and bleach are repetitive and yes the fighting last to long (cha why do animators fell the need to expand one fight over like 10 eps!!! thats so stupid!) but i still love them! oh and Fruit Basket is wicked to!

I think you mean Pretty Girl Evolution (or The Wallflower). And the anime with Nadesico in it is a totally different genre of anime.

Yeah, I think there was a "Wallflower" in the title somewhere. There's a good anime with Nadesico in the title?

i havent seen those, ive heard of Tok. god. but i never watched it......Paranoia was good by ep but it made no sence as a series as a whole, i just dont like the heres a bunch of barly linked storys enjoy! thing i guess. there where a few eps i liked ( the one with the suicidal animator, the three people who kept chickening out of suicide, and the one with the gossiping old women, i liked those) but really it was messed up....and i like shows where a bunch of people die! lol.
