My first love and I met on Runescape when I was 16. She was actually dating someone else, so the first "date" I suppose was one day she finally worked up the courage to break up with him. We were headed off to work on our archery skills in this area south of Yanile. We talked for about three hours while killing demons with bronze arrows.

We were together for 2.5 years.

my first love was on the school tennis team and we had our date right after her practice match. We just went to a near by park and smooched. We broke up a few days later though.....i'm sure my kissing had nothing to do with that

My first date was with my current boyfriend, actually! I just turned 17 and he was 23 at the time so I had to tell my parents because he was coming to pick me up. It was quite sudden, but I said to my parents "Ok, I gotta tell you something. I'm going on a date tonight, he's coming to pick me up, he's 23." My mom freaked out at first because of his age, but my dad was totally cool with it so my mom calmed down XD

I live in Quebec, so we went in the "old Quebec" a historical part of the city where people go for walks. We walked and talked a lot. I knew a secret spot on a hill with an amazing view on the river. We sat there, talked and cuddled, watched the sunset then we kissed. Isn't that like in movies? XD

Anyway, we met on june 20th, had our first date on june 24th and started going out on that day too. I guess it was love at first sight. Still together after 6 happy years!

hey just a question...u were 17 and he was 23 and u two kissed? Isn't that illegal or something? (if not then sorry for asking a stupid question)

To be honest, I don't quite remember where I first went out with my first girlfriend. It could have been either a mall crawl or an unoriginal movie date.

The only thing that made it engaging was probably the fact we liked each other.

As for my first crush? We went out for sushi.

Hahaha! Good question... I'm pretty sure that yes, it was legal! I think that once you reach 17, if you are consenting (and my parents also agreed that I go out with him) you can date someone older (well... maybe not 10 years older, but 5-6 years is alright I think). I'm not sure if it would have been legal if I had been 15 and him 21, thought. I'm glad we met at the right moment lol! XD

we went to a Mexican restaurant (the salty iguana) then went to a mall to walk around, look at stuff and just talk. then went to see a movie. then I took her home. I've know her for a few years and haven't seen her since I moved during my freshman year in high school, so this date was also a reunion. yeah I kinda suck at date planning.

Over half my life ago, I was 16 and I met a girl... Well, I was introduced to a girl and somehow found myself being told I was now dating her...

It was a confusing time in my life, I must say. I think our mutual friends thought we'd make a cute couple and she was just out of an abusive relationship and I was shy and she was nervous around men she didn't know and I had to beg a friend to let me have her number so we could talk before the 'first date' they had planned as a massive triple or quadruple date.

Talking was good. On the phone (land-line, nobody had mobiles back then) we hit it off immediately. We were corny, cute and a little awkward, but it worked. We decided, since we had deviously got in contact, to set up our own first date so that we could get to know each other as just the two of us before the mass-date.

Together, we decided that going to see a film was traditional, so we'd go and do that. There was actually nothing worth seeing, but it was never meant to be about the film; it would just give us something to talk about, we assumed...

It was a disaster. The seats were so deep we couldn't see each other or have much more contact than holding hands on the arm-rest (which I tried, but she then spent the rest of the film with her hands in her lap) and then we sat outside waiting for our lifts home suddenly tongue-tied. We could chat for over an hour at a time on the phone, but in the real-world, we ran out of conversation after "that wasn't a great film" and we sat in silence until rescued by our respective parents.

Okay, maybe it was not helped by the 'amusing' anecdote where I mentioned I had originally thought it was her cute red-headed friend who I was being set up with, but still...

We lasted two months and two dates. Two months of talking every other day after school and really hitting it off until we met in the real world and just sat awkwardly next to each other, then chatting on the phone like everything was fine.

Despite now being married (to a completely different person), I never did get the hang of dating...
