Halloween is still a few weeks away but I want to know what's the scariest horror movie you've seen?

Posted 9/19/14
There's are a lot of Thai movies that to be by far is the "scariest" or freaky ..

"Phobia" 1 and 2
"A haunting in Bangkok"
"heaven and Hell"
"Art of the devil 3" <- freaky shit
"Recycle" <-- Chinese/thai horror. Very good I must say.

Well yup ;]

Alien
The Thing
The Evil Dead
The Exorcist
The Amityville Horror
Rosemary's Baby
Ju-On
Ringu
Tetsuo The Iron Man
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Wake In Fright

*Note that several of these aren't gory or have much action at all (or any in "Picnic"). They are unsettling and emotionally upsetting. Monsters eating people are rarely scary.

Gremlins, or Cloverfield?

I've watched all of the big name, hardcore horror movies, like all the ones everyone's mentioned so far, but none of them scare me. Even when I try to force them to.

For some reason, I find foreign horror movies scarier than American ones ( ESPECIALLY) these two:

Ju-on (Japanese)
The Grapes of Death (French)

but this one have scared me as well:
The Housemaid (South Korean)
and there's one more but I can't think of the title at the moment...

John Carpenter's The Thing, I've only seen it once and I've never seen it again, not that I would want to. Only horror movie that genuinely frightened me, I was about 15 when I saw it , had nightmares about it for over a week I recall.

I'm such a baby. I don't typically watch scary movies because I genuinely don't like being scared.

I've seen a few, but haven't watched any scary movie in a couple years. I think the last one I watched was Paranormal Activity.
