Phones ring too much.

Agreed.

I have an Andoid and like it. The reason I don't have an Iphone is because I don't want one. I've also had problems with the Iphone even though I don't own one. Whenever my friends, who have an Iphone and have Imessage on, would text me it would go to some other random person, who had my number registered as his on Imessage. And this person asked one of my friends if he could get a picture of her and he used pretty foul language towards her as well. It was quite an annoyance, since I didn't know what was going on. I was also angry at the random guy for treating my friend like he did. It only happened to my friends with Iphones. I did get it fixed after talking with my phone company, then had call to Apple to have them unregister my number from Imessage.

Overpriced walled-garden.... no thanks. If I do decide to buy a phone as it stands it would probably be OnePlus One perhaps with some firmware mods.

"android" because this~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4x6yvQZDVLM

it's pretty great :3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNIYJYqRynE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PhfhDDduUI (and it does run dead trigger with all sthe special effects, just go to options and set graphics too high. Still super smooth XD)

It's also a really quick / stable android tablet in general and has a beautifull screen for watching anime / reading manga :3
So yeah, android. At least untill the next iphone becomes a 7 inch handheld with built in controller at the sides, which I don't think will happen soon

Mainly because they're too expensive, and I only use my phone for calls, texts, and the odd stupid picture. Even then, hearing from past experience of other people, Apple seems to pretty much have made their phones a fashion statement; something that'll be outdated and likely not even working come the next year.

I have an iPhone (4S) and two iPads because I think Apple makes good, easy to use products, with all the features I want and need in everyday 'computing'. I have never in any way had a serious issue with any of my Apple products, and I trust Apple to deliver top quality and reliable products on a consistent basis. Not to sound like a 'fanboy', but I'm sold on Apple and have zero interest in trying anything else. For those who think differently, that's just fine too.

I have an iPhone because my sister got it for free from one of her friends and so she gave it to me because she already had one lol Hey, free phone so why not? I might plan on buying the iPhone 6 because Apple stopped supporting iOS on my iPhone 4 and it's starting to keep crashing and the battery drains quickly.

android any day of the week. can download any app for free so long as you know how. most of the phones come with changeable batteries. meaning you dont have to throw them away and buy another product. Every android charger is the same. crApple are just good at marketing to the masses and making gullible people think they need expensive shit.

I honestly have no preference for phones, A smartphone is a smartphone to me. I have a android phone at the moment because a friend of mine runs a android based cell phone company so I get any of the phones I want for free.

both the data plans and the smartphones are too expensive and with apple you are paying more for branding, quality, and customer service than for punch.. I have a tablet.. that I don't use as a phone, a regular cell phone without smart phone capabilities, and for apps that I want I have an iPod touch.. too bad they aren't updating the iOS for it anymore.. if they drop it totally to push us onto smartphones I'll just shelve it.. I have a laptop that I use for most things and my tablet will work as long as there's wi-fi. When I pay down my credit cards I'm going to get myself a Karma pay-as-you-go hotspot to use with it, and then I'll never be out of range, although data will be too expensive for me to stream anime/etc over.. it should do fine for loading webpages/running apps.

1. the only calls I get are from telemarketers., 2. cost, 3. they are less secure than hard line phones, 4. people can track you anywhere you go via GPS. 5. If I need an app I just go to my computer with it's 28in HD screen and use a program

I rather have a keyboard phone but I'll take a Samsung Galaxy phone instead. I already have an IPhone. I just rather have an IPod touch instead of that.

I don't have an iPhone because last year they didn't have big screens, and I wanted a screen that I could comfortably read/watch on. I really like Android now, however I have contemplated going back to iPhone with the unveiling of the iPhone 6 Plus. Really though I don't think anyone should be locked in to one ecosystem or the other, it's what you find the most useful. I use a multitude of devices all from different companies with different user interfaces and experiences.
