I would wear a hazmat suit but I think I'd get arrested

We actually did an experiment for this in practicum, my first year of college. Let's just say you don't want to know what is on your hands after touching tables and door handles. You also don't want to know what happens after you use purell.

I always wash my hands, but I also keep my penis clean so if I touch my penis wouldn't that be the same as me just touching my shoulder. Do I need to wash my hands every time I touch my shoulder? It's all skin.

that's what my family says

We don't live in a sterile environment. There are microorganisms literally everywhere. In the air, on your skin surface etc. There are tons living in your guts.

I'm not saying let's all get dirty and never wash again, but being exposed to microorganisms can sometimes be good.

There's a hypothesis, too much cleanliness might lead to the development of allergies.

Just start wearing gloves like the Victorian ladies. It's kinda steampunk.

Here is a fun fact:

Hand Washing Statistics: People Don’t Wash Hands

American Society of Microbiology studies showed:
97% of females and 92% of males say they wash
of these only 75% females and 58% males washed
50% of middle and high school students say they wash
of these 33% of females and only 8% of males used soap while washing hands
Minnesota Department of Health led three observational studies:
2003 Back to 50’s Car Show Event—64% females washed and 30% males
2003 State Fair—65% females washed and 39% males
2004 State Fair—75% females washed and 51% males

Don't leave me hanging like that. Since you brought it up I got to know now.

In regards to the Topic.
I hate when people leave a restroom without washing there hands. I'll either open the door with a paper towel or use my shirt. It's just so gross. I hate using public restrooms in general.

I wash my hands all the time, mostly because I got tired of getting sick.

I know a person who doesn't wash his hands when he takes a shit. He then proceeds to cook for himself and others. When I confronted him about it he said his hands don't get dirty when he wipes. Pretty disgusting really.

I always wash mt hands at home, at a friends house, in public, etc. The only place I don't is my school and that's because the taps are really old. They'll splutter for a second or two and then explode with water but I've only ever peed at school, never taken a dump. It sorta disgusts me but I'm not getting myself drenched over my hands. I make sure to vigorously wash them when I get home though

I'd like to know whose genitals are so filthy that if they didn't wash their hands after using the restroom anyone they came in contact with would be infected with some deadly penile virus. I do wash my hands after using the restroom, but I also think being incredibly hygienic and freakishly sanitised is in no way good for your immune system for when something does go wrong. They are germs everywhere people. Being clean is great, but trying to kill all germs and living in an unnaturally clean environment will make your immune system lazy and terrible.

Ahahahahhahhahahahhahahhahahahahhahahh!

Before you eat, wash 'em, before and after you shake hands, wash 'em. After you handle money, wash 'em. After you handle your junk, definitely wash them. omg. ....dont get all OCD about it, but wash frequently to avoid getting sick ad spreading germs ok?

Yeah, I wash my hands after using the restroom, but my parents also taught me not to piss on them, so we're probably good either way.

I'd say I'm with George Carlin on this one, too much germ obsession never did anybody any good.
