#1= Goku-just awesome
#2= L- he got me interested in crime dramas and behavioral psychology...knowing the reasons for peoples actions and behavior (including my own) is intriguing...... It would be cool to be a detective .

Killua Zoldyck, serves as the flash ship for why my #1 favorite anime IS my #1 favorite anime. His personality instantly adhered to my own disposition and internal attributions. Also provided an esoteric level of stimulation which in turn helped in development of my epiphany to better myself for the future.

#2

Kaiji Itou, A magnanimous gambler, despite his debt he still always chooses to put others in front of himself, putting his life in jeopardy many times. Such an admirable character. (also one of the smartest characters I've ever seen in anime) Despite being a gambler, he embodies the very person I view myself as and try to maintain on a day-to-day basis. Altruistic & highly considerate both in heart and soul.

#3

Yukio Tanaka, a character I relate my life with from time to time, helped in generation of my philosophy : "Risk the unusual, or settle for the ordinary." Also spoke out one of my favorite quotes in anime "If you start living your life by other people's standards, your life is no longer your own."

Sad to say, but Naruto. I was pretty much bullied and outcasted by my peers until high school, so the arcs where Naruto talked to Gara about how they aren't so different since they were both outcasted really hit me home. The words "lonliness is the ultimate form of suffering" is a quote that I will never forget, and I try to go talk to the people who sit in the corner by themselves or something so at least have an option of having someone to talk to.

Hachiken from Silver Spoon. I find this guy so relatable since he is surrounded by people who knows exactly what to do with their lives, yet he is almost totally clueless, yet he is finding happiness by helping everyone else. Same with me, right now, I'm in college and after I graduate, I'll probably go join the Air Force since I was always a military geek. But afterwards, not sure, and i still don't have a plan. But through truly compassionate and loving people and volunteering experiences, I know I want to do something with my life that will help people.

Otonashi: For what he did for the passengers on the train and how he inspired them to do, not to spoil too much. That was definitely one of the scenes in anime that has made an impression on me.
