On CR I think that would be considered a no-no if it's not clean enough for everyone's viewing pleasure. I'm a yaoi fan myself but I'd prefer satisfying myself in the realm of visual novels and mangas. I want my fix uncensored and unfiltered ;).

There is hardly any yaoi anime that is either classic or memorable at all. So what would be the point of making more, if not enough people will remember them in the long run?

Ai no Kusabi is old as dirt, and was memorable enough to get a remake in 2012. JR is still going strong, unfortunately. Hell, it's even getting a third season years after the second season aired. Stuff like Embracing Love and Mirage of Blaze have been remembered for a while. Embracing Love is still going on today. Gravitation is another one that is usually still recommended despite coming out years ago. Loveless is up there too.

Sooooo, there's quite a few, actually.

And it's sales, not how well they are remembered that decides what gets made.

Anyway, a forum post on a western site won't make companies make BL, you're gunna have to buy the Japanese releases.

Second season of Free! is like a regular sports show about swimming, literally if it wasn't for the ending (personally havn't seen since I just skip it) I would assume it's a normal old show.

The second season is very well done from the first season which has a lot of, it makes me cringe coming from a straight guy but "Fan Service". Second season did a real good job.

We've had some Yaoi anime, but they're so few and far between. I was really disappointed that the Dramatical Murder anime mostly ignored the yaoi aspect of it since it is based on a BL game, so that was unfortunate.

Not a fan of this genre but I recently saw an anime in CR called No:6. It has some BL elements in it.
