I'm also having troubles on the Roku. I have a Roku 2 with wired ethernet connection on a 20 mbit internet connection. CR on my computer (wifi) works normally, but it stalls every 10-20 seconds on the Roku. I'm streaming at 480P, though I tried switching to SD and it made no difference. Netflix works fine in the Roku.

If the "switching" your a referring to is the Video Preferences here on the website, those affect only the web video player, not devices like the Roku.

We're having the same freezing issue with the Roku Streaming Stick. Plays for a while, then the video will freeze, but the audio will continue.

Watched 3-4 episodes of Chaika –The Coffin Princess via a Roku 3 last night with no problems. Everything streamed without pause or glitch.

- ISP: Comcast (w/Blast)
- Resolution: I assume 480P (non-subscriber). Definitely not 360P (SD).

Personally still having major problems with buffering. Something I never had an issue with before the upgrade, and I am not experiencing it on Amazon, Hulu, or Netflix

Been having this problem for over a week now... constant pausing, I assume buffering, but since I'm on a 75/75 FiOS connection and not having any trouble with my other streaming services, this has to be Crunchyroll's problem

Having a similar problem on my Roku 2 this past weekend. Pausing rebuffering every 20 seconds or so, OR Image freezes, sound continues, OR CR app just gives up all together and throws up a "Cannot play video" screen. No issues with other streaming sites.

I was having the 10 second play problem, but as of this morning, episodes do not load at all. The buffering wheel sits at 33% for every show, without moving. I, too, have no problems with any other channel, have ethernet, and no connection problems.

Edit to add: I have a Roku 3.

I started having the same issue over the last week with my Roku 3. It either buffers or throws a connection error after a few seconds in any episode I try to watch. It is on a wired connection. On my notebook (WiFi) and my HTPC (wired) I can watch an episode in 1080p with no issue at all. I am also not having any issue with any of the other channels on the Roku. When I look at the performance logs on my router it looks like it does a short initial buffer and then stops communicating.

PLEASE FIX
Been Having the same problem it plays for a Min or Two Then it starts buffering or just stops completely and gives me "Connection error". This has been happening to me for about two weeks.Tested My Internet Everything Is Running Perfect I have Time Warner tried everything to fix the problem. I don't have any trouble at all with other channels on Roku like Netflix, Hulu. I have Also Been Having same problem with Chromcast using the Crunchy Roll App. So the problem has to be on your end. I'm also having this issue on both Roku 2 and Roku 3. I have no issue with other channels such as Netflix on the same devices, only Crunchyroll.

Same here. Am unable to watch CR on my iPad air or Roku 3. The video gets stuck buffering at 33% or I get the error message "cannot play video"

Netflix, Hulu, Funimation, and Youtube all stream fine on the Roku 3 and ipad Air. Just CR is not working.

Same here. Freeze, video playback goes away, sound keeps going.

Error message: Couldn't play video. Check your account/connection and try again. I tried removing the channel and reinstalling it and that didn't solve the problem. I also deactivated and reactivated my Roku. No luck there either.

I emailed CR support and did get a reply, but no resolution to the issues. Incredibly disappointing, since CR has been the anime and drama channel of choice. They must still be working out the bugs for the new format and app. I'd rather not cancel my subscription, but they really need to do something about this!

Glad to see that I'm not the only one having these problems.

I checked in to see if anyone else was still having these problems. Ugh, I'm so behind on my anime and I really want to watch it on the roku more than any other device so I can watch on my TV. I also don't want to cancel because I love my Crunchyroll so please fix soon!
