I like your idea, Juppiter. Art is expression so if you can't/don't want to post a drawing, you should post any kind of expression. :D

I'll probably stick to art though. I'm not terribly good with creative writing, although I wish I was!!

I'll look forward to seeing Gnu's colored Itachi! Think you'll make that your new background, Juppiter?

I'd draw something colorful but I don't own any colored pencils. :/

Actually M33ga i have tried drawing a few real life things, a bird, a stuffed animal, and i did draw a person once. (But tbh the person ended up looking anime) i might post the bird or the person if i can find them just to show something i can do other than anime.

Really?? I'd like to see your bird! I feel like realism is so tricky because of shading and the slightest proportions that are off and you mess it up. :/

I like it. I think if you decide to keep coloring, adding in shading with the color can really make a piece pop more. The smudging doesn't stand out to me though. Good Job!!

I wish I could look that good with my tear troughs. People say I just look sleepy or miserable all the time thanks to mine.

That was an amazing usage of that quote! Haha, I was smiling so much when I saw what you were doing.

Man, this thread is making me want to draw AND re-watch/read Naruto. Sigh...

I'm not much for poetry, but after visiting M33ga's art page, I thought about Man on the Moon. As a result, I wrote this before bed last night.

An odd addiction.

My mind still sharp. My tongue still cruel. But that taste was different.
Forlorn. Regret. Empty. These rewards were mine to take, but not then.
A drug given to me. A disease given to others.

To be and to be happy to be. This was too much to ask, but the addiction was there.
I didn't need it, nor did I deserve it, so why bother?
Because, for that time, there was the drug.

Even through a stagnant medium where objection swelled within, the effect remained... and it grew.
I was someone else. Someone greater, I would say. Not so much, would another.
Either way, it was mine to take and I was proud. I was.

Now buried deep into the past with questions unanswered,
I still remember that time through the cravings.
Relunctant to claim my rewards as I once did.

I want a new drug.

Alright. Back to anime for me. *attempts to bow out gracefully, but farts in the process*

I really like your poem. I never actually got to see Man on the Moon but your poem makes me want to check it out.

I always thought you wrote a bit poetically. It can even be seen in your about me, which is what intrigued me.

Do you normally write poems or usually things more like your blog?

And thanks for wanting to write a poem after reading mine, I think yours is better. I'll keep looking forward to seeing more of what you write (blog included)

That poem has absolutely nothing to do with Man on the Moon outside of its intended purpose for the poem's existence. The content is something else entirely. I don't blog anything poetic, though its tone hints at what I was aiming for with what I created above your response. Man on the Moon, by the way, is about the life of Andy Kaufman. Interesting fellow.

Yeah, I read a summary of the movie when you mentioned it. I figured it wasn't terribly related but if it was any sort of inspiration for your poem than it got me interested. So you feel the tones in your above poem are (somewhat) similar to those tones in your blog? Or am I misreading that part?

Either way, I'm still interested. I'm curious about the content of the poem too. I always wonder what the writer thought about when putting pieces together. But maybe I like to think too much.

I was doing a single thing within the entirety of it, and you in particular should be able to figure that out before anyone else. Everything else is merely filler, though it does stem from a moment of my past. I simply distorted those events to fit the theme to type what I told. And, yes, you are thinking WAAAAAY too hard about it all. Unless you demand to know directly, I'll just say that I'm insulting myself to indirectly call back a previous comment of no significance greater than exposing my curiosity.

Haha, well, I like to think too much so I'll take it as is and just mull it over. Besides, I think that can be the beauty of writing too, even if the author didn't mean to make a reference or elicit a certain emotion, it can still happen. Maybe I should have studied more literary theory, I'd probably have enjoyed that.

I haven't seen anymore art lately. Gnu, did you ever find that poster you made?
