Breaking News: There's a war somewhere in the world.

Now, back to Tom with the sports.

Why does ISIS threaten the Western and European countries but they won't travel to there and actually do something?
I know they're not 'all talk' because they are killing their own people right now and beheading westerners. They don't bluff and do what they say they'll do

BUT why do they make threat to the West and European countries but never actually travel there and do something???

Okay, I know that there was one time an extremist group physically attacked the United States on 9/11 but other than that there has been no other extremist groups coming into the said countries. There has been nothing big.

Which brings me to my next point
Is it okay that the United States is now sending air strikes at ISIS FIRST?? Why did the U.S. did that first, why not wait until ISIS actually comes to the U.S. or its Ally countries and let them try to destroy us first so that then we can actually start war if thats what they want. What ISIS is doing is genocide, not a war. But if they want a war, why don't they just come at us.

Also...why is it always the U.S. doing something but I never see any European countries stepping up? Aren't they just as responsible?

Because ISIS is most likely a staged faux organization. There are rumors circulating that the ISIS leader was trained by the Mossad. If you want to know why the U.S. is sending airstrikes, you should know that the U.S. isn't in control of its own Middle East foreign policy, Israel is. They want Syria to be destabilized and attacked so they can eventually possess more land.

Bush, like all American presidents, is nothing but a puppet of AIPAC.

Now the U.S. is going to train/arm some more rebels, only for them to become another terrorist group and retaliate against whatever or whomever they don't like at the time...

This has happened before...they never learn.

ISIS only wanted to be left alone, if they want to kill their own people, why should that be our problem? I mean, it's sad what the people over there are going though but this is happening everywhere (Africa, Venezuela etc) not in great extremes but similar... so if US wants to play the hero, why choose just the middle east? maybe the oil has too many advantages (or disadvantages)

ISIS is not like Hitler and the Nazi party. We have no idea who is part of ISIS and who is the head of it since it's been shown that members are all over the world. This will be a complete chaos. US is striking people, many innocent people, without knowing who the real enemy is.

ISIS does not want to be left alone, Love, I'm not sure where you're getting that. They've explicitly stated that want war with the United States and several other western nations.

Indeed, there are instances of genocide occurring elsewhere, but the reason we're intervening to stop ISIS is because they are the worst at the present time. Indeed, you cannot save everyone but that's no reason to not save the most you can. ISIS was attacking and threatening to kill every single Kurd in Iraq. Well, the Kurds are our most loyal allies in the region and allowing them to be slaughtered in an egregious act of genocide would not only be a great betrayal of our allies, but also immoral. Remember, doing nothing is still a conscious decision. Allowing systematic injustices to be perpetuated is the same as being complicit in the offense itself.

We are well aware who the real enemy is, and I can assure you we're not killing (many) civilians. The areas we're striking are firmily under ISIS control -- the civilians have either fled or been killed (by ISIS).

There is not a single conflict the United States military can wage that it will lose. We may as well use our military might on humanitarian grounds and prevent another Rwanda.

instead of using bombs just drop nukes on the middle east

would solve so many problems. we'll just erase the middle east from our maps and pretend it never existed.
