I use contacts on days I'm not lazy.
I've been wearing glasses for eight years though.

I should be wearing my glasses, but they've been giving me headaches lately. I actually need to stop being a lazy ass and look into the medical condition in my left eye...but the effort...meh. But seriously, I should.

I do. Began wearing one during my freshman year in college.

I have been playing way too much video games and watching way too much shows and clips; hence, I have messed up my sight. Not to mention, I read my home works and comics while lying on bed.

On another note, I have a co-worker that wears contacts then wears glasses to work. Ain't that something?

Some nearsightedness are hereditary. I've been wearing glasses since the 3rd grade.

The important thing is to still have some light on when staring at a computer monitor, and not go at it in the dark where it's easier to get an eye strain.

Wearing THEM*. It's incorrect to describe a pair of glasses as "one" or in a singular way, unless of course you're wearing an eye patch made from glass. Most of you probably won't care but it's a pet peeve. Back on topic, I don't wear them. Most people wear them only as a fashion statement and I don't want to be lumped in with them, even if I had sight problems and was advised to wear them.

I'm going to need them eventually since I can't see for crap when I'm even sitting in the middle of the classroom during a lecture.

Last time I went to check my eyes was last year and they predicted that it would be two years before I can have a prescription for glasses since my numbers were too small to prescribe at the time. So a year later.... Got one year left.... maybe if I stop watching anime and reading manga so much at night..... So bad for my eyes.

How come we don't get eye strain watching in a movie theatre? The room's setting is dark when the featured movie starts.

I really want glasses. Therefore I shall play all the video games! Watch all the anime! Read all the manga!
On a more serious note, I would love to wear glasses; I don't look nice without them.

Mine is a weird case. I used to wear one, even through it is extremely minor eye sight problem then my aunt decided to take me to some other doctor because she hate seeing me in glasses and that doctor said it is so minor that that i don't need to wear one so hadn't wore one since then.

I have astigmatism in my left eye and I'm short sighted.

Regardless of 10+ years of constant videogames, anime and such, I would have had to get glasses regardless due to my astigmatism.

Been wearing them since early age. In my case it is most likely hereditary, since my parents use(d) glasses. Both of my sisters have bad eye sight too, younger of them uses contacts and the older glasses. I haven't exactly taken care of my eye sight too well either though.

It's a good thing glasses fit me and I actually look weird without them.

I work late too much to wear contacts -- they get sticky and annoying when you get tired, and it's a pain in the ass when you're consistently trying to squeeze out as much performance as you can from your eyes. Glasses solve the problem, and honestly, I've grown to prefer them fashion-wise.

LOLZ.

What's up with the 'finally' part? Am I suddenly obligated to wear glasses?

Shit, I better step up my game then.

I use glasses when need but long term usage nope. The eyes become so dependent on glasses they get weaker. I have seen advertizements on eye exercise that can improve your vision. One of these days I may get off my laze but and try it.
