So yea, when I was going home today I couldn't get home like I usually do. Why you ask? Well, there was a bomb threat in Stockholm at the biggest train stations (T-centralen, Skärmarbrink and Gullmarsplan).

So what have happened was that a group went berserk and decided to rob a bunch of companies and then place bombs at the major metro stations (in Stockholm) because they knew that the Police would dedicate their resources to the bombs rather then the companies... This is just my speculation but, so that they could go crazy and rob more companies whitout any resistance from the Police.

Anyways, I don't care if companies get's robed since they have a shit load of money anyways... But if someone uses people as a scapegoat for their crimes then they've crossed the line.

Also I'm a bit pissed at the fact that I had to travel around the entire city to get home. So what do yoiu think about this?

Btw, here's a video of the police blowing up the bomb... Use adblocker to skip a Swedish add! http://tv.aftonbladet.se/webbtv/nyheter/brott-och-straff/article51664.ab?service=embedded&statsAutoStart=false&showrelated=true

honestly think this is better and smarter than kidnapping a single child for example and traumatising him for the rest of his life.

Public act of terrorist are usually performed by those who wants attention like a child rant yet, to perform a robbery police stations have their special Bomb squad and anti-robbery are other squad.

The main problem is the panic. thats the goal of the terrorist how people gonna react not use the train for a while other won't again use it...
claiming more security for event that rarely ocurs.

terrorist seldom win, unless they have a majority of the population behind them. like afganastan in the sovet invasion era. the out come of ISIS remains to be scene.

i think today, asymetrical warfare is more about influincing a nations population and less about military victory.

I believe it's a great Plan. Morality says it's wrong, but Yeah...to Heck with Conglomerates and the like. But I DO agree with what You said about it Crossing a Line when "Innocents" are Used as Scapegoats. Although, if the Police or Deputies are worth Their weight in Salt, they should be able to quickly understand and be able to separate those Guilty from those only Used in the process of the Set-Up.

But Yeah, it's a great Idea. Back in the Day, it was an even GREATER Idea. But THESE DAYS, there's SO MANY Policeman and Men and Women of the Law out and about on the "Prowl" Daily, that unless You're in a SUPER-DUPER small Town, and a great Cover Story for Your Diversion for the Police, to keep them with You...It kinda goes up in Flames.

Well, I would say that the problem isn't bombs, I would say that the problem is whit the people. People are more scared of bombs today, governments around the world takes these things more seriously today then before 9/11 (in some cases they take it too seriously).

I feel like a bomb explosion isn't as psychologically traumatising as being as hostage and tied to a bed for several days..
but I do admit it is traumatising to see injured people from the bomb.

___

So did they manage to catch the thieves?

I don't know if they caught them. But it seems like they've injured a pregnant woman when they tried to escape the scene.

big deal

if companies get robbed won't people still end up scapegoats? say they lose their jobs
btw, what kind of companies are we talking about?
it's naive to think all/most police will be deployed if there is a bomb scare
they can hit as many places but it wouldn't make a difference to the timing of their arrest if they end up arrested
