Ok martial arts what do you think about it, best style, your style, should people learn it or forget about it. is it okay for kids to learn. should it only be used for self defense or is fighting sports like MMA okay. Are you or any one you know skilled in martial arts or street fighting. Is street fighting considered a martial art. Did you ever use it in self defense, did you use it wrongly to hurt someone when it was not self defense.

will you learn anything if you only have one day a week to attend lessons or will that be a waste of time?

yes, you can my friend is, he teaches many types and also ways to work out for the type of art you want to be, mostly you choice to be balanced or strength or speed. try looking any where near you online. look at reviews and price. I grabbed a few free class's the rest I learned from friends who where brown belts or black belts or who fought MMA

I think all kids should learn it. It's healthy, social, disciplinary, and teaches intelligent learners an effective way to defend themselves from idiots who would've learned nothing from the classes anyway.

yeah it does, I mean older blully were some time week and just used there weight or attitude to scare people. But these days blullys know more sadly real life is not as cool as anime where the person gets picked on they train and become better stronger and more skilled than the bully. and bullys now days have back up come in groups so a poor nerd or like me outcast has little chance. I always stood up for people got me hurt a few times. lol sad thing is i stood up for some one being picked on and later that person I helped kept trying to bully me because I was to nice, I could of bullyed him right back and i know i could of won but I guess it made him feel cooler

As long as you supplement your lessons by practicing on your own at home when ever you have the time. One lesson a week proceeding with 6 days of nothing wouldn't be enough.

I believe it's okay for kids to learn how to fight in self defense, but I'm against MMA fighting for kids.

Regarding street fighting as being a martial art, street fighting is not a fighting style. Two martial artists duking it out in a public area would be considered street fighting. I think the proper term for a style with no orthodox form or fighting knowledge would be called "brawling".
