Ok so I thought of an interesting question.

If you could choose to be reborn at a different time and area of the world, when and where would you choose?

I would have like to have been born in the mid to late 1940's U.S. just so I could experience the 50's and 60's.

The 50's because I feel that was a great decade for cars, music and science fiction
(movies like the iron giant made me fall in love with the 50's)

And the 60's because I think I would have fit in great with the culture at the time.

It feels like you can never pick a timeline that's too far ahead with how fast things are progressing. I wouldn't care too much about where I'm born.

This is kind of silly, but I would love to experience the whole Futurama scenario where I somehow wake up a thousand years into the future and have to navigate my way though the changes the world and my city have gone through. I would love to know what 3014 looks like

So I'd have to go with the city i live in, but a thousand or two years into the future

If I had to pick somewhere in the past, it'd probably be 1800's England (i've been watching a lot of bad BBC period dramas and i'm just so fascinated by that time period particularly, i've always kind of wanted to be a princess or something in a fancy Victorian style dress.. just because)

I would like to be born in the early 1600's, in either western Europe or some part of Asia. Life would be so different, without most of the technology we live with today. It would be interesting to experience that.

That or one thousand years in the future, in where I live now. Same thing, life would be so different, but so much more advanced.

I was born during the LA riots... My mom and dad said that a bunch of stuff around the hospital was on fire... I'm a badass!!! lol jk

I think I'm kinda happy that I was born in the 90's... I wouldn't be able to stand the racism of the 50's and 60's...

I'm happy I was born in the 1990's.
America wasn't very friendly to minorities back in the day.

I'd either pick the late 1800's to early 1900's in England, because I love the Victorian age. Or 500 years in the future. Technology will have advanced, maybe even to where diseases like Cancer will be similar to the flu because of how easily treatable it'll be. Not to mention more advanced laptops, futuristic smart phones, and perfected virtual reality!

If i could pick a time it would be when a space rush happens. Meaning something like a gold rush, but instead we would be dealing with space. I would jump at the chance to explore a new world.

I think I was born at the right time in the right place so I don't think I'd change anything. I mean, Anime wouldn't be so important to me today if a certain chain of events hadn't happened and changing that would just be--wrong.

I would Love to have grown up during My Parents time. My was born in 1951, which is the "Goldilocks Zone" - if You will, in My opinion. Living My Elementary Years during the 50's, and becoming a Teenager during the BLESSED 60's. And then, being a 20 Year old in the early 70's. That would be ideal in My opinion. He tells Me all the time how wonderful things were during those Days. He went to Medical School during the early 70's and by the mid 80's, He had gained His M.D. He went to Woodstock, He saw SO MANY great Musical Acts in Person. He has SO MANY incredible Autographs...Jimi Hendrix, all of "The Beatles" and Yoko, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrisson, all of the members of the "Eagles" and "The Small Faces". Hell, He was even in Band Himself! He was the Vocalist, and He played with the Band "America" and several Others. Another of them was called "Exile". My Dad has lived Himself a wonderful, whimsical Life. I can only imagine how amazing it truly was!

So Yeah. That's the Time and Place I would go back to. I'd LOVE to try it!

I like my date of birth and the country I was born in - seeing as Scotland makes sure that I don't have to stay poor my whole life. If I had to change my date of birth then it would simply be 3 days afterwards so that I could share an official birthday with my actual birthday. Saying 100s of years in the future would be too risky and I love my country so I'd never be anywhere else.
