I'd have to go with both. You've got to remember that if you're in the VR world your real life body can't exercise nor can you eat or drink. After being inside VR for about 3 days you'd probably die from a lack of fluids alone.

Both would be the best option.

Virtual, of course. It sounds lame, but I find myself a lot happier in fictional places, anyway.

I like real life, because it has unexpected surprises.

While I know that I'd enjoy virtual reality alot more than real life I know that it's not as fulfilling. So I'm gonna give real life a chance.

If you saw Surrogates , you know what happens to physical bodies while the user spends too much time in their surrogate bodies. They get weak from neglect and lack of exercise. So, I'd say real life is more important. But I'd still go into the virtual world as much as possible.

This is true. I would think if you favor one of the options you should go with 65% 35%
In other words, 65% in the virtual world, BUT the other 45% should be..
Eatings
Showering
Taking a shower
Brushing your teeth
Keeping a healthy life style outside the V world so you can stay alive to play it!

Nothing can be more boring than reality so i'd go with the virtual one. While on the subject of our physical body while in the virtual world I'd rather just upload my consciousness to the net or something like that if available, assuming we're talking sci-fi.

Virtual, though I lean against abandoning RL.
