Kind of. Therapist did it.

Ahh. I can't remember the first few days after I first got diagnosed. @-@ It's kind of funny; My short term memory's usually horrible, but my long term's usually pretty good.

XD I don't believe my family saw it coming in the slightest. Had two other diagnosis that day too.

=P I told her after the appt and she was.....

'Called it.'

i was diagnosed with Autism ( Asperger's ) i think when i was Around 9, currently 15 now, most kids with aspeger's aren't really social, others are, Kids who have Autism tend to have different interests than others ( very proud that i like anime ), I love that i'm autistic, lots of doctors tell me i think totally different than other "normal" kids xD to solve a problem like; in a maze, most kids go a certain way, while i go a completely different way. Also I'm incredibly good at physics, C++, and school at my age.

Surprising fact is that;Albert Einstein was considered to have Aspergers :D, wierd huh?.

XD Could be their obsession. Typically someone with Asperger's has an obsession or something that they really, really, really love or are interested in whether it be books, planes, cars, etc.

I think my main one would either be the internet or anime. More minor interests are video games and books.

I remember reading on someone who had Asperger's blog (or maybe it was a forum post) that one reason they really loved anime was because of all the exaggerated facial expressions. Those with Asperger's typically have some difficulty expressing emotions (whether it be verbally or physically).

It's also becoming more mainstream/common which makes it easier for us to find and get into. I first started watching anime either through 4kids' Saturday morning anime block or Toonami probably when I was 3, 4, or 5. May have been 6; I honestly have no clue. @-@

This is kind of how I learned facial expressions, and why more subtle ones are lost on me. This, and movies.

Yup; I remember my aunt telling me that one reason she wanted to take away Sonic X from me was that I kept copying the exaggerated facial expressions.

Another thing: Those with Asperger's commonly have trouble controlling their volume. If you ever have a time where you're mute/can't talk at all, just try humming. It seems to work for me.

There are those that suspect me but I'm not really going to do anything about it. Whether or not it is true it isn't going to alter my course of action nor will I use it as any excuse.

I can't ever not talk, but I do have trouble with volume control sometimes. I speak too softly, usually.

That's usually how it is with me. I have a lot o f moments where I speak too soft or I speak too loudly (which usually happens when I get excited/talk about something that I like). Mute thing usually happens every once in a while. ><

I deleted my notes. No I didn't.

Anyway this is a rant from someone with highly functioning Aspergers Syndrome. Sorry about grammar errors.

I've found that like math. ^-^ It's pretty fun when I understand (whenever I don't I want to throw something or bang my head against a wall) and I think I do pretty well with perception/noticing things.

What messes me up with school is my large sum of absences; If it wasn't for that I'd have higher grades/GPA.

Oh! Also just remembered: I seem to also have a love of detective things/solving mysteries and riddles. There was an ARG somewhere not too long ago and I managed to figure some stuff out and it made me pretty happy when people used my clues.

I don't have anything against people who have it nor do I look down on them in any way but with that being said I'm not going to treat somebody any differently or give them special treatment for having a medical condition.

Everybody gets treated exactly the same when it comes to me.

I was diagnosed with slight aspergers before I shut myself in my house, but never fully understood the condition so can't say I thought much about it.

No, I'm an ornery person with ADD. My jackass of an eldest step-brother has it, unfortunately (I'd rather not associate you guys with him). No train for him.

I remember this seriesThe Pet Girl of Sakurasou wich Mashiro Shiina, the main girl have Asperger’s Syndrome and no one ever noticed that, as I did a research paper which showed that if people around a person with mind -low autism and/or Asperger's Syndrome weren’t notified they would notice it at all.
