The Most Believable Spooky Story?
Posted 10/3/14

Damn it, why did I have to read that?! I'm such a whimp and home alone. Pretty scared that this is going to happen to me.
Plot twist: Maybe the footsteps/coughing was your mother and father drunk, pranking you and the woman was a friend of theirs.

HAHA! That's an excellent plot twist! I'll have to tell my friend that one haha yeah and this is a completely true story. Other things had happened, too, but none as frightening as this.

Five years ago I had a terrible nightmare where I was hit by a car. I was screaming so loudly that I woke up my brother and the entire house. I had nightmares before but this was the first one where I woke everyone up, we brushed the accident aside and went back to sleep. The next morning I woke up to to the sound of my mother crying and my uncles talking with her in the living room. I woke up and asked what was going on and that's when they told me that one of my uncles had been hit by a car while crossing the street. To this very day my mother can not hear me tell this story because according to her my dream was a type of premonition.
A few days before my uncle died, our house shook like there was an earthquake. The weird thing is that we live in Arizona and stuff like that never happens around here. We also didn't see anything on the news. Was this another sign that my uncle was going to die?

I think it was 2 or 3 years ago, there was a period during fall and winter when I'd use the bathroom late at night, and I could see something outside the bathroom window.

The window was frosted, so you can't see anything clearly, but whatever it was, it was pure white and roughly the size and shape of a human head, and was about two feet from the window. It never moved. I could never figure out what it was, because you can't see what's outside that window from anywhere else in the house, and I sure as heck wasn't going to go outside to see what it was.

Ah, nothing overly dramatic.
Just hallucinations during sleep paralysis.
You know, people walking through walls. Giant spiders in my bed. The usual creepiness.
