How come no one likes Funimations streaming? I never used it before, but I plan to once they bring it to X1/PS4.

I can't speak to their other app streams, but their Roku streams have always worked well for me.

Damn i hate it when either Canada or USA dont get good animer only because of those copyright arent we all Human being ;D

It isn't being denied to you, you simply have to watch it on another legal site (Funimation or Hulu).

At least you aren't in one of the other countries that get totally left out in the cold when Funimation gets a license, despite the fact that in many cases their license actually covers some other countries.

In a perfect world, they would turn around and sub-license the other countries outside the US and Canada to another service, but I suspect they are more interested in not helping the competition.

also a shame that modern economical system doesn't allow me to buy a subscription with my country's currency (not supported by paypal and i don't have an international visa card because i am not an importer and i don't own foreign currency earned in a legal commercial transaction) because i really want to support crunchyroll

This is actually the worst season you've managed for the UK, you have failed to get licenses for all the biggest anime of the season. You're gonna start to lose UK customers if you don't fix this

Based on that their UK traffic per Alexa has declined, it is probably already happen. Unfortunately, that creates a downward spiral where CR has even less money to offer for a UK license for titles.

It doesn't help that on top of that, CR has to contend with a competitor for UK licenses.

Lord Marksman and Vanadis will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe excluding the Nordics, UK, and Ireland.

But there are only Spanish, French and German subtitles... what about english subtitles? Still the second most spoken language in the world... and the language we Dutch watch in (I travel a lot, so I am fine with a lot of languages... still would like to see English)

Or not watch it at all... or figure out a way to make crunchyroll believe you are somewhere else... not saying that's possible though. (Or just get a job where you travel lots )

Sometimes when Funimation licenses a show, they get the English language rights...period. That means even if they don't have the rights for a specific country, it means no other company has the rights to re-produce it with English language subtitles or dubbing.

One would think the rights for specific countries would be enough, but sadly it doesn't always work that way.
