Ebola won't even kill 10 people in the US.. We're too careful and we know how to prevent the spread.. Only a new virus or a deadly mutation in an existing one will do real damage.. Chill out people.. Chances of you catching Ebola is slim.

I have to disagree. We're not letting them die, we simply can't satisfy all their needs. Disease is also one of nature's ways of population control.

As for ebola.....

Well if you ask me condoms are a way of population control, not mass disease.

I don't think it will be all that bad in America either.....but saying Americans are too careful and know what they do made me laugh a lot.
After all the 1Ebola patient in America went to the Hospital with Ebola like symptoms only to be send away again cause the Nurse forgot to give that information to the Doctor. That was 2 days before it got confirmed that he has it.

The danger of Ebola in the US is very real, however it is important to remember that other very deadly and infectious diseases exist in the US and few people get sick from it. The Plague, Black Death, or Bubonic Plague can be contracted by individuals in the US. From 1900 to 2012 999 cases have been confirmed with 80% being confirmed as Bubonic. Recently it's been about 7 cases per year (CDC) and remember that during the actual Black Death during the 1300's several types of plague killed up to 200 million people. Far worse than any Ebola outbreak.

Practices in containing infectious disease and medical hygiene in general has increased greatly. I don't expect a great outbreak in the US but it is possible, especially if it become airborne which some people have warned. Right not I'm not too worried.

There was an Ebola "outbreak" in the US during the 1990's, not much came from it. Calm down. I just wonder what all this Ebola Zombie business is all about.

I snarkily thought that too until I read this. Pretty interesting.
