Hi, it's good to have a hobby outside animes and comics. So if you are a card game junky tell us what's yours and hoping we can play together.

I play Magic the gathering. Here's what it is.

I played that in high school but not since then. I hated how people would change the rules to suite themselves.

I started way back Unlimited-Revised era where there's only Type 1 and Type 2 format but I think the changes they made are for the best in majority to accommodate more people.

<<have a hobby outside animes and comics. >>

What's that?

I kid, I kid! I LOVE card games!! I used to watch my friends play Magic and then my younger cousin taught me a while ago (it's fun but I never think I'm competitive or strategic enough to play in a big group).

As far as "regular" card games go, I like Poker, Gin Rummy, Go Fish (seriously, guys), B u l l s h i t, A s s h o l e, and Euchre (which I don't think people out here are familiar with but people equate it to Spades). I may need refresher courses for some but I'm always down to play for fun.

I also love board games...I LOVE BOARD GAMES. King of Tokyo, anyone?

Use to play magic in high school and played yugioh as well. Not really into card games anymore as they got pretty expensive throughout the years...

Hmmm, I grew up reading Spider-Man, X-Men, and Archie comics mainly (which I still love), but in the last few years, I've been reading a lot of different stuff.

Zenescope does a great job of re-imagining and re-telling fairy tale characters and stories (there's some pretty "mature" content): https://shop.zenescope.com/comics/. I also read some of Big Dog Ink's stuff as well: http://bigdogink.com/our-comics--I read their Legend of Oz (really good) as well as a series called Penny for Your Soul (battle of angels and demons and the devil).

Also, I've got a few Serenity (Firefly) issues, the first Tomb Raider by Gail Simone, Birds of Prey, and a few other DC/Marvel comics involving slightly lesser known characters (but now that Guardian of the Galaxy came out, more people are probably familiar with some of them).

I recently bought issues of John Carpenter's (director of Halloween) "Asylum" series: https://www.comixology.com/John-Carpenters-Asylum-1/digital-comic/47320 and am going to start those eventually.

And this is why I no longer have room for physical copies of comics or manga!! There's just too much!!

Sorry that got long...LOL. How about you??

Besides King of Tokyo, I like old school board games like Checkers, Clue (LOVE), Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Life...I've played Mystery Mansion, Settlers of Catan, and a few that I now cannot remember...before moving, I joined a tabletop gamers meetup in Chicago and there'd be gaming nights like once a twice a month at different comic shops/bars around the city.

Nice. I read justice league anything I'm a tad obsessed & I did start reading guardians of the galaxy this year and that's about it. Although there is a new comic series that came out a couple of weeks ago I think it's called Gotham academy by dc which looks interesting so I think I might be picking that one up as well. Is zenescope kind of like the fables series?
