Funimation has just announced the license for this show, and the first episode is already up.

Episode 1

Objects are explained, and everybody is doing stuff in the snow fields. Qwenthur and Havia are not exactly the most serious of soldiers there and Qwenthur is quite the pervert there thinking about boobs at a time when the princess is in a tight spot. Pretty solid way to start the show seeing that there's war going on, but these boys are taking the time to enjoy themselves with the princess like that.

Episode 1

this started off to a nice start introducing the characters Qwenthur and Havia and even the princess. pretty much explains the whole thing of objects and of the war. the opening is nice we get to see some characters that will later be introduced some busty ones to. so in the end not bad will keep watching.

Episode 1

tfw we got this instead of Index S3 :/ (expect alot of salt from Index fans in this thread)

Haven't read that far into the LNs but from what I've read this seems mediocre.

They fight one Object per volume so expect this show to be sort of slow monster of the week type show (though that'll depending on the pacing and whether or not this does turn out to be split cour).

Episode 1:
Introducing the new 2016 model year Object, it's not your fathers Argevollen. Mechs sorry Objects, control the battlefields and wage war for the Inner Sphere, sorry fractured nations in a "clean" war scenario.

Well that was an okay start i guess. Introduced us to the concept of the objects, introduced us to the characters. nice visuals and effects. Not a lot really happened though except at the end i guess. So yeah.

My only really problem is.. Clearly whoever wrote this got no idea how warfare or the military works. Which means i constantly have to drown out the voice in my head that goes "That's now how that works ! That's not how any of this works !"

So not bad. But not really good either.

It was an alright start, but the first episode lacked impact for me - seemed like a long episode of telling us about their world, which can be boring at times. I do like Froletia and hope to see more of her

Though reading that HO was from the author of Raildex does give me hope - obligatory S3 when?!

Not bad, but not that impressive either. None of the characters really jumped out as interesting to me, and the humor felt very forced. The premise is interesting enough, but I hope that it will be interesting enough to hold out 24 episodes. Honestly 12 sounds better, especially if it is just monster of the week.

I liked it, mainly I watched it because I enjoyed Index and Railgun but it is a decent start. We get introduced to the main cast, Qwenthur, Havia and Milinda(or princess as she is referred to) who all seem like good characters I'm interested in learning more about. The setting which is interesting to see war taking place in freezing Alaska, not a place I'd expect to see in an anime so that got my attention. Plus the snow covered moutains will make some nice fight scenes.

We also get a look at the objects, which are pretty cool honestly, although they look more like alien pods then regular mechs but it makes for some interesting looking machines.

This was the first anime I've watched of the new Fall season and I'll definitely be back for the second episode.

Well I'm a bit disappointed, cause all I've seen leading up to this was still images regarding the franchise and thought it'd be a bit more....serious.

Didn't expect all this comedy and fanservice.

I mean I guess it was alright, but was still let down a bit.

Well, that wasn't at all what I was expecting. Nothing amazing, but seems fun so far. I'd like to get some more background on each of the characters, but I suppose that will happen with upcoming episodes.

Anyways fun little ditty of a first episode. Nothing ground-breaking, but I do see promise here.

Actually three per volume. But as it goes on it turns into 1 or 2. One entire volume didn't even have the main characters in it.

Well, it's pretty clear the mecha aren't going to be the only heavy objects featured.
