Really enjoyed reading this manga but it just ends abruptly. Would love to see more of this but don't know what's happened to it. Are they still making more of this somewhere?

It ends on chapter 99 with a rushed ending and at this point it looks like there will be no continuation.

Sucks that it ended like that but it looks like readers started to lose interest and they just dropped it.

It got canceled because it fell in the weekly rankings.

The author's next work in Jump, Kagami no Kuni, also got cancelled after like 20 or so chapters if I recall correctly.

@Rito2Ru--

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa, wasn't cancelled.
At least, I've heard people say that he wanted to make a short series that time around (probably to keep people interested, and therefore, not get axed.)
I do miss Mx0 tho' ;~;. Never should've been axed.
He's coming out with a work, called "Kiss X Death", I don't know if it's just a one-shot or if it's a series tho'.

Mx0 was great, i really did feel like they flopped that ending though, sometimes I don't get Japanese rankings.

Kiss x Death is a weekly in Jump+ Comes out every Thursday. Kano has stated it will run for at least 40 chapters.

Kagami no Kuni no Harisugawa was ended by Kano at minimum length (3 volumes) for WSJ. He made margin comments about how the setup of having the MC in the mirror made it extremely hard to involve him in the events of the story, and caused a lot of issues in working out the script for each chapter.

So my guess is he chose to unravel the mess ASAP and cut his losses rather than get cancelled a third time. It's possible he could have launched the story into a new arc, but the rankings were luke-warm at best, and tank sales were maybe 70k, which is rather poor for WSJ.
