Is 12 the last one? I love this show and want more of it. The references, the nostalgia...

Would be cool to see Ryu ga Gotoku (Yakuza) featured.

Welp and it's over....

Weird ending though. I mean, the graduation was pretty straightforward but this:

Maybe they're hoping to partner up with Microsoft for a season 2, introducing a mysterious foreign transfer student: Student X :D

It was a fun series overall though, a lot of nostalgic moments for gamers, and a lot of good laughs along the way ^_^

I kinda miss the show already. I got mostly all the Sega Hardware except for a few Hardware that was not as great as the others but it makes me want to collect even more Sega games and other hardware than Nintendo games and hardware.

On the one hand, I went into these last two endings wanting a sequel season, but upon seeing the ending, I am struggling to see how they can do a sequel, let alone what the point of it would be. They ended things rather definitively.

Still, an entertaining and cute nostalgia trip.

7/10. Megane Drive was best girl until the very end.

yeah, this made me all kinds of nostalgic for my old dreamcast. i loved that thing. personifying it like this makes me feel like a horrible person for getting rid of her so long ago.

that being said: they didnt do it this season, but im sticking to my guns that SEGA is going to use this show to silently unveil their new console and dive headfirst back into the console wars. Dreamcast 2!!! DREAMCAST 2!!!!!!

oh, and i know it would've been pretty cliche...but i was kinda hoping the ending (during credits or whatever) would be a bunch of man-on-the-street interviews with people about their fond memories of the consoles. i feel like that would've been fitting, considering the arguable success of saturn and dreamcast made the ending kinda sad for them

Saturn especially. Between the Genesis/Mega Drive, Saturn, and Dreamcast, the Saturn is the least loved nowadays. The Genesis millions upon millions of people still fondly remember. For many it was the console of their childhood. And the Dreamcast, while it may have sold poorly, has soooooo many of its unfortunately relatively small library as highly regarded games as well. The Saturn? Well......not so much, mainly because they, for some reason, kept many of the generally considered "good" games for the system in Japan.

Anybody else find the end of this show unexpectedly depressing?

I wasn't expecting much when I started, but this turned out to be such a bizarre, watchable show and I really enjoyed it. But the ending I kept thinking about how bad the sales where when Dreamcast talked about how everybody would love her and got bummed out.
