Hey Everyone. Wow...My Head is still spinning. Before this Afternoon, I had been fortunate to have never lived through any of Mother Nature's wrath. The most I had dealt with before this past Tuesday, was minor Flooding from the Creek that I live in the vicinity of. Well, around 12:30 PM, 10/7/14, it started to Rain. That's cool right? I mean, the Forecast had called for it. Then, literally within 20 seconds or so, the Wind which was just blowing minor gusts at 25 MPH at it's highest, went into a phase I, nor Anyone else in My Town could have imagined. It began hailing...The Sky, which was but just a regular Overcast turned near BLACK. I live near a Railroad track, so it's common to hear the sounds of the Trains in the background. As I said, this was VERY quick...The Wind literally QUADRUPLED in speed, and I heard the sound of TRAINS...

The area in which I live is a valley type, with long plains on the 15 acres I live. I had been lucky enough to have gone 28 Years without experiencing a Tornado, but on THIS Day, My Town would finally get what We had due coming. My Car; My 82' Custlass Supreme...My Baby...is destroyed. Tree split and fell right on top of it. All kinds of windows are busted, as well as My fences were ran right through. All in all, I'm looking at $20-25,000 dollars worth of damage. All in the blink of an eye. I guess I made this Thread just to see how Crunchyroll has dealt with the fury of Mother Nature that You may have lived through, and just experiences in general. I'm emotionally devastated, but at the End of the Day, I'm glad that Myself, My Family and My Animals all made it through this encounter Alive.

Sigh...This is going to be ONE HECK of a trying Day coming. Waiting on the Sun to break to SOMEHOW begin dealing with this devastation. Have a good One, Guys.

I'm sorry to hear that.

It's a good thing to hear that you're safe, no one got hurt or killed, and you still have a home to go back into.

Does your insurance(s) cover the damages?

In some instances...But not My Car.

I appreciate the kind Words My Friend. Life is indeed precious. This surely won't be forgotten anytime soon; Not only by Myself, but pretty much EVERYONE here in Town. We're ALL kinda stunned right now.

I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through, that sounds terrifying. I glad you're all ok.

Thankfully, I've never experienced anything like that. We don't really get much extreme weather in the south of England. I don't know how I'd cope in this kind of situation.

Anyway, I hope everything gets back to normal for you soon and that nothing like this ever happens again.

Pretend it didn't happen and check for any new spiders.

I agree, just be grateful you didn't get hurt. I saw a few tornadoes in my travels, and favorable conditions for them many times more. I've also went though an area that was hit pretty hard by an F5 the previous night. It was an industrial area and as far as the eye could see there was nothing but shrapnel and debris. You should have seen it. Anyway, I'm sorry about your car. Its pretty random, how the weather can change, but at least you're safe

What exactly your '82 Custlass Supreme looked like?
What's the paint job?

It was Steel grey, with Cream running line throughout the middle. The interior had Wood finish against crushed Blue velvet and obsidian leather trim. It only has/had 24,000 miles on it. I purchased it from an Elderly couple that took the utmost care of it, and hardly ever used it. They were in their 90's and had Others do most of their Outings for them. Ahhhh, it hurts even thinking about it.

Thanks for all the Kind words Everyone...I most certainly do appreciate them...<3

glad you're safe

i've never experienced flooding where i live (since my house is pretty high up). but in my country, just a few hours of heavy rain will flood a whole city (yeah thats how shitty our gov't is in fixing the sewage system). one time during a typhoon, the flood level was higher than 3 meters in other cities. sad to say that a lot of lives were lost during those times...

Natural disasters. Tornados, flooding, blizzards, lightning, polar weather (temperatures that reach to -30 degrees F), and more flooding.

Sorry about your tornado. They are a pain to clean up afterwards.

I've dealt with natural disasters, I live in Tennessee, and tornadoes are fairly common where I live. I've had some damage to my personal property, but most of my experience has been doing clean up following such storms.
