My neighbor told me that I will go to hell if I worship Jesus Christ, and now you're telling me otherwise. Who should I trust?

Don't trust any of them.

Well, that depends on whether you want to get buried or cremated or some other alternative way.

In general though, you get the blood sucked out of you (to make sure you aren't actually alive by killing you), then get all dolled up, then the service occurs.

And then the real you is dead. Until that thing happens. Then it'll be sorta like...how to describe it...
Your memory, all of the things which happened around you that you sensed or lived through, all of it, is stored on a device which is saved every week or so just in case there's a mistake at the end (though there are no mistakes, like ever). Then, at the end of the the lives, depending on how we die, the composition of atoms is saved at some point (could be weeks before or right before). Then, after that thing, we are born again into our new lives with our new bodies in a hospital - like place, where illnesses or conditions are healed, and we are explained how the world is different (over 99% of the people who have ever lived have never even seen a phone). Then we're released.

I believe it depends on the sect of Islam, whether or not one believes there's a waiting period of a month or so.

In general, though, if you see a ghost or any of that sort, it's probably a Jinn (according to the Muslim faith).

This is because our souls fall into a deep sleep like state until the Resurrection.

you lose conciousness

your body deteriorates

the deteriorated parts of the body go to the earth/coffin/cremated and are re scattered

it's like the water cycle only with people bits

The Bible is down with Jinn and ghosts as well. They're somewhat the same thing. In the Bible there is no way to go from darkness to light after death. But there is such a thing as speaking to the dead (spirits) on earth. This is a mistake though, because focussing on a specific being in the spirit realm, without primarily focussing on the God of all spirits, is a form of idolatry. Relating to any spirit is only sensible in the context of a personal relationship with the God of all spirits. This is because God didn't set it up so that we would ever need an intermediary between us and Him. Jesus is God's Word made flesh. In the Bible, if any spirit does not agree that the Saviour has come in the flesh (Jesus), relating to that Spirit is a ticket to liar city. =)

I like the few posts back about not trusting anybody. It's so true that you can't just take somebody's word for it and carry on. That's like taking any ghost's word for it and carrying on. You have to come to your own understanding. It's smart to doubt everybody's opinion, especially your own. Self-confidence on this stuff, without being the source of all (as in the only one who could logically know everything) isn't sensible.

i believe it will be exactly the way it was before you were born. I don't remember anything from before i was born. It was nothingness. No good, no bad, just nothing. so, i expect it will be just like that.
