She killed.

Super hard to hear that she was singing in English.

Miku is short.

Letterman after she finished was pretty hilarious.

Will be interested to see the ratings for tonight.

I didn't like the song, but it was amusing seeing Dave with Miku. I would have preferred they go with something ridiculous like "Po pi po".

Jimmy Fallon had Iron Man on his show tonight while David Letterman had Hatsune Miku. I think we know who won this round.

This won't fare well with Letterman's audience who tend to be much older. Going on Fallon's show would've been a better option.

Definitely especially since Letterman always plays himself off as an old guy who is unbeknownst of much entertainment not to mention the current mainstream. It works I suppose since people who visit are able to advertise whatever they are on the show for but I find it lazy as well

Edit
found it on youtube. it was not good. it did not represent her well nor did it do her justice.

Honestly, the english was barely understandable and the high pitched squealing at the beginning made my ears bleed. Definitely could have done better tonight, especially with the song selection.

The English is barely understandable indeed, but then again, a Japanese person told me vocaloids are difficult to understand anyways.

Sadly yes, that was english. Sharing the world is the songs name, and it sounds as horrible as it did on letterman.

"Sharing the World" is Miku Expo NY and LA's theme song, so I understand why it was played. I'm not unhappy with the decision, but I'm not too enthused by it either. I just don't think it's the song that will "wow" people or get people curious about Vocaloid.

I like "Sharing the World," and I like the few songs BIGHEAD's (formerly known as ELEKI) made, but I would definitely say his Vocaloid-tuning skills are a weak point. His tuning's just not as good as his music. Though, to his credit, English Miku herself could use plenty of improvements. Obtaining clarity with English Miku is difficult.

He's getting better though. In my opinion, "Sharing the World" is a sizeable step up from "Story Rider" in terms of tuning. Still, you gotta keep in mind that "Sharing the World" features a beta version of Miku's upcoming English voicebank update.

Anyway, if it were up to me, I'd play Mitchie M's "Ai Dee." It's a song that's easy to get behind. The tuning is top tier, and the music is very catchy. Only problem is that it's mostly in Japanese and some parts are sung by Luka, so you would probably need Luka on stage too.

'Viva Happy' has just as brilliant in tuning as 'Ai Dee' and it's only sung by Miku.

Yeah, "Viva Happy" would be good too. That song is crazy catchy.

I mainly chose "Ai Dee" because it features some English (even if it's just a tiny bit). Putting aside that reason, a lot of other Mitchie M songs could work really!

I hope I don't sound like a fanboy for giving out all this praise, but I just think his songs do a great job as a gateway to Vocaloid. They really help show what's possible with synthetic voice.
