As the title suggests, it would be great if there were an option to play an episode from the beginning. If I want to go back and rewatch an episode, I have to hold down the trigger for an eternity to rewind it. The PS3 app desperately needs this function, as I can't just click on the seeker bar like I would a pc or touchscreen device.

I know it's not convenient, but one thing you could do is play the episode on PC, let it run from the beginning for about 30 seconds, and then restart it from the PS3. Even if you need to skip back, it'll be for a much shorter time than you'd need to otherwise.

To be honest, I started watching videos on the Vita instead of the PS3 just because the Vita will automatically play from the beginning, and the PS3 no longer does.

Not a great long term solution. The addition of this basic functionality would be great.

As far as watching it on Vita, it's just not the same as laying back on the couch and watching it a big screen.

Rather than rewind all the way to the beginning why not fast forward to the end? At least that's what I do and then hit circle to back out, and start the episode over again. Though I do understand where you're coming from and that there should be a prompt of some sort to start from the beginning or continue where you left off. I've adjusted to it now by watching the episodes all the way through or fast forwarding through the ending and/or preview, and so far that seems to work whenever I go back and watch a series again.
