I got into Japanese history and culture first, then into anime. My undergraduate major was East Asian Studies with a focus on Japanese language and history. Now I love both.

Love anything Anime/Manga/Japanese! Heck I was extreamly sad when I ended up getting an American car versus a Japanese one [my other one is a Prius though w00t]. I also have been dabling in Japanese cooking [miso soup, onigiri etc...]. Along with all that I've been sowly learning Japanese from watching Anime. I've been trying to study up on the side but it's much more fun to try and figure out what is being said without reading the subs :D.

I love anime to death, yet surprisingly I hardly ever get the chance to watch it. About Japanese culture, I find it as interesting as all other foreign cultures.

I've always liked Japanese Culture more than any other culture out there, but I only know basics. I would like to live in Japan someday tho

The third one. I wouldn't call myself obsessed with anime/manga. I'm simply a fan. I'm more interested in the Japanese culture than I am anime/manga.

I enjoy learning about the Japanese culture, because it's very relaxing(or at least a big part of it is)to me. I know that there's more to Japan other than Sakura Trees and red Temples, but there's always more to discover. Anime/Manga play a big part in my interest in Japan. Hopefully I'll travel there one day.
