I think the ridiculous makes good comedy fodder

Bonus points if the ridiculous happens in real life

People misunderstand my sarcasm. So yes, it has happened and is still happening to me.

Yeah.
That's why I use ample exclamation points when I try to be expressive

If it's the first thing I've said and some people can't pick out the sarcasm for lack of solid context, I don't blame them.

But when people read through 20 of my sarcastic posts and disregard how there are people laughing at the comments who understand the sarcasm, that's when we start having problems....

I saw this and went, "Omg." Yes, I have misunderstood alot of people in forums, and sometimes very ashamedly on more than one occasion. Gosh, sometimes I would get defensive and wasn't being attacked. It got better when I began taking a min or so(or considerably more) before responding, then I could better appreciate criticism that might have meant to be more constructive than negative implying. So trying to give the benefit of doubt when in doubt, or letting it go entirely in some cases..

I couldn't have said it better myself.

i used to be soooo careful about being understood exactly how i meant it but it's unneeded, i don't think it matters that much. I seldom say anything that has more than one meaning

I think I have that problem sometimes until I get known better with the person, but most of the time minor misunderstandings doesn't mean much thou and I will learn to read them better
