I think it's known as Seasonal affective disorder. For example, winter, being shorter daylight, can get me down.
When it's been rainy for a whole week, dark and grey, I feel down and unmotivated. How about you?

I live in Florida so I have two seasons. Hot and Sunny, or Perfect and sunny. I hate it when it is super hot and love it when it is temperate.

yeah rainy days and grey clouds always make me feel gloomy.

sunny days make me happy. I used to like Australia's weather when it was in a 10 year drought (it rained maybe once a year). now it just rains and rains. so sick of it.

(I don't mind snow, though, snow is beautiful. but it doesn't snow here, it hails -___- [worse than rain])

Somewhat yes. I feel slightly better when there's more light.

Hot or cold doesn't really affect me though.

It's the opposite for me I love it when it rains and it's dark and I get depressed when it's sunny and hot.

I often find that I feel at peace when I'm out and it's raining, although I do feel strong undertones of melancholy. I can barely function above 23 degrees celcius, let alone the insane 40-45 degrees heatwaves we get in my state during summer, so I automatically prefer cooler weather. Being outside in general often (a majority of the time) makes me feel a little more peaceful. To be fair, I do have prolonged mental issues so my input on S.A.D might not be the best, nor the most accurate depiction of what occurs to individuals during that time period.

I really prefer overcast or even rainy days to sunny ones. The darker conditions imbue me with melancholy, which in turn exhilarates me. I seem to be happiest when vaguely depressed, and those overcast skies really help set the mood!

I sometimes like to watch the rain outside. In a sense, it's somewhat calming.

I do suffer from SAD during the winter. I usually am thrown for an emotional curveball and I get depressed something fierce. Luckily, I have a new lamp that should help fight that off this winter! Yay!

Usually only when it ruins my plans (super rare) or it's so hot I have no energy. I tend to be okay with most weather but I like rainy days.

I prefer rainy or cloudy days.
Sunlight everyday gets boring.

I like all kinds of weather except droughts. Variations in weather do affect me and my writing, so if it remained constant it'd always be dull.

I'm begining to wonder if I might have SAD. Although I suffer from depression year-round, it seems to take a harsh turn for the worse at this time of year.

Kind of a bummer since I've always liked autumn/winter weather but, the last couple of years it's been making me feel like crap.

Reasons to be cheerful, eh?

I am from Seattle where it is dark and gloomy constantly...and I gotta say that I absolutely love that weather. Sure perfectly blue skies and sunny days happen, but on those days I retreat further into my house. I am not a huge fan of "good weather." My attitude doesn't change much, but I am always a little bit more relaxed when it rains.
