I know there was a thread talking about what everyone is wearing on Halloween.. But I am curious, are there any traditions you have around this time of the year?(not just on the day of Halloween, but also the month or so beforehand) What are your thoughts on Halloween? Do you have plans for Halloween this year? Do you like Halloween, or do you dislike it? Any favorite horror movies/shows to watch? Also how about pumpkin carving? :O Let me know your thoughts.

It's decent. Not my favorite holiday. Don't have any plans for it nether. So all I can do is just watch horror movies for the sake of celebrating. lol.

I don't have any plans for Halloween. It's just like any other day to me.

I'll probably give some candy out. The magic is gone for me.
My family is Mexican so we celebrate the days of the dead from October 31 - November 2.
We offer food to the ancestors and pray for their eternal rest.

I have no idea what my plans are. I love dressing up for the occasion, but I don't know what to dress up as yet. I might just wing it and throw on my Tifa Lockhart cosplay from FantasyCon a few months ago. I do plan to go to a bunch of haunted houses throughout October; that's been accomplished already, but it doesn't hurt to have a couple of bounce back passes.

Horror movies? I have tons of them. All I can think of right now is all of the Friday the 13th movies, any movie-adapted Stephen King book, pretty much anything directed by Tim Burton can be classified as horror. The Addams Family will always be close to my heart. As will the majority of the Frankenstein movies. I haven't seen a couple, though. (I grew up to them.) I think Edward Scissor Hands would be adequate, too. It has Christmas in it, so it can be a multi-seasonal movie just like the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Even though I've never trick-or-treated, Halloween still holds alot of nostalgic and fun memories of my childhood. It's now like every other day but I still try to do something to commemorate the day like watching a horror movie or anime.

I usually dress up but I dont know if I will this year. Back home my family would just shut off the lights and lock the doors while I went outside with friends lol

Might dress up for the heck of it but I left my costumes at home so I might need to buy another one.
