I'm pretty sure we all have that one film that we watched as kids that just left us emotionally scarred for life, so who feels like sharing? For me, it was The Land Before Time and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Four-year-old me was terrified of Oogie Boogie.
What about you guys?

Can't say I really had anything like that. I enjoyed all the movies that I watched as a kid or like most of my childhood I forgot it. Either way nope.

Off the top of my head I can think of a few that scared/scarred me as a kid...

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi
The Neverending Story
The Secret of NIMH

Seems to be a pattern...violence against animals is a real sensitive subject for me since I was a child.

Took the words out of my mouth. Er, keyboard.
Either way, Bambi is a banned movie in my house and always will be.

The Neverending Story! I love that movie, and I own it, but that's scary stuff for a child!

ET, the part where ET is hiding with the stuffed animals. So Scary! and Grimlins? or Gremlins? (I don't know how to spell it but I'm too scared to google it) And Jaws but now I've seen it a couple of times. It's not as scary as I thought. I still don't like sharks though.

i have three and they may seem odd.

Frosty the Snowman. the animated film. ok, so Frosty melts. when a snowman melts in real life thats it. they are gone forever. with this in mind i began bawling my eyes out.

Transformers the Movie. again, the animated film. Optimus Prime dies. not only does my hero die he turns this charred ash color and the light goes out of his eyes.

Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan. death of Mr. Spock. sure, he comes back in the next film...but i didn't know that.
