There was an anime club in my high school but I never went to it.
The people there were too weird. I know I sound like a jerk but I didn't feel comfortable with them.

My high school have an anime club, but I think it just started this year. I think there was an anime club during my sophomore or freshman year, but I do not know what happened to it.
I do want to go check it out, but I haven't gone to a meeting yet...I'm considering about whether or not I should go check it out whenever the next meeting rolls around.

There is an anime club at my school, and we've only had one meeting so far. As far as I can tell, we're just really loud and talk about whatever we feel like. There are cool people, some weaboos and some otakus, but it's all good. There's a handful of yaoi, lovers too XD They are also apparently the most hated club by the faculty.

We do have Japanese club, though it might as well be an anime club. They do contribute cultural influence from Japan, but come on, let's be real; that club consists of white people who listen to Vocaloid and watch episodes of Clannad and Naruto over and over again. It's not a bad thing, but it defeats the purpose of "Japan isn't all about anime".

Pennstate UP and yes, a pretty big one actually. They meet like 4 times a week and the campus has its own convention (setsucon) every year.

Pretty cool I suppose.

There is a Japanese club.. and it's REALLY just based on manga stuff and all that. I guess the Japanese teacher would help them out and all that. Her classroom is full of Naruto posters xD

The high school that I graduated from had an anime club, but it was very disorganized. Nobody, not even the teacher, seemed to know what they were doing. I only went my first year and never came back. I'm not even sure it continued after that.

The high school I go to had one. I passed by it quite a few times with little interest of it due to the people and what they watched. I think it's gone now since the person supervising it is no longer on the premises.

Had an unofficial Anime club at my college way back when. Was fun except the founder decided he wanted to switch to all subbed. At that time I wanted only dubbed and wasn't at all interested in watching subbed. Suffice to say I'm polar opposite now and prefer sub over dub anyday!
