If it suits the couple that's ok, a forced arrange marriage is another matter.

Also if a couple joined a dating agency specifically for those who want to marry then meet up and marry. That's also a form of arranged marriage.

If two families have children growing up together and those children are always together being best friends then grow up close and the parents say "so when are we having the wedding?", that's an arranged marriage.

Although arranged marriages tend to have a higher success rate, not taking people's feelings into account is not right.
I think that as long as both parties are happy, it's fine.

It's much better to witness two people fight, to the death, for my hand in marriage.

I feel like arrange marriages are perfectly fine, only if both parties are agreeing. Like the girl has to have her say in the marriage. Plus, some people trust their parents and/ or community to find someone for them. It all depends on people's view and beliefs. As long as no one is being forced. To be honest, I am going to be asking my mother to arrange a marriage most likely. I trust my mother and aunties. They are wiser and been through more things than I have. If I do not feel like the one they chose is someone I want to marry, then I can say no and keeping going forward with my life
