As noted on Gematsu and elsewhere, ALfheim Online will be featured in the next upcoming SAO game: Sword Art Online: Lost Song, set for release on Vita and PS3 in Japan in 2015:

There isn't a lot of information out about the game thus far, though it does look like it'll have expansive areas to explore in the new-to-the-game "SvartALfheimr" region (which seems akin to the Hollow Area that was added to SAO in the previous game, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment); allow for three character per party instead of SAO:HF's two; offer the choice of playing as characters other than Kirito; and of course introduce a flying element to the game.

So, is anyone here hoping that Bamco will localize this game; and if so, what feature do you hope they might add to what has already been announced as a part of SAO:LS so far?

(Personally, I'm hoping they will add a "real world" aspect of the game, where you can wander around and do stuff in between Full Dives.)

A new CR article includes some more pics, as well as a link to a Japanese article interviewing Kawahara Reki and Futami Yosuke:

Well, that was fast - the game is already heading to Asia with an English version!

EDIT: It's getting a Traditional Chinese release, too.
