There's many ways to answer this, but to save time, I'll just say YES.

Not many Americans know just how Dog awful "Ebola" really is. As Someone speaking from a Medical standpoint, when I think about situations and such like this, it's just horrifying something like Ebola even being brought into a new Cultural climate here in North America. It's a savage, and brutal virus that has already shown a past ability to regenerate and become resistant to Our vaccines, Antibiotics and Bactericidals. Looking at it from an absolute worst type scenario, even "Yersinia Pestis"or, better known as to Us nowadays as the virus that brought Humanity living in the Middle Ages a scourge like One that Mankind had never known before...That which I'm speaking about of course, is "The Plague". Also known as the "Black Death". While of course they are both TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE viruses, Ebola's effects remind Me of something seen in Horror Movies. When it gets as bad as it will, the infected will be Bleeding and leaking Bodily fluids from each and every 'opening' We see on the Outside of Our Bodies. What's worse, is that ANY type of Medication that is known of having ANY efficacy whatsoever in treating the infected with Ebola MUST be given to the Patient via I.V. As You get worse, Your veins become, as is known to the Medical community, "wet" and quickly begin to collapse. So, You're not only Bleeding from Your exteriors, but INSIDE of You as well. Once You're behind a certain point in Prognosis, You begin to see that no matter HOW much Fluids You're given, Your Body will continue to exert signs and circumstances which look, and basically ARE identical to that of Someone suffering from severe Dehydration...And again, the Patient in the worst and final throes, We see that it doesn't go away. Then...You'll begin throwing up nothing but Blood and Bile, as well as having bowel movements which aren't anything but Blood and Water, and in worst cases, possibly even pieces and bits of the Stomach's lining and/or possible Gastrointestinal tissue. Patient Mortality tends to follow quickly when said Deceased reaches the stages which exhibit mannerisms like those mentioned above. Truly, a horrible way to Die.

Anyhow, I hope that this was at least something hopefully interesting, enlightening, or something along those lines. Much Love, Crunchyrollers!

Still, it's important to note that the mode of transmission makes ebola tricky to spread to the extent it has in Sierra Leone or Liberia when compared with places with developed infrastructure, extensive financial, medical, and educational resources. Dallas, the hospital, and the Texas state government completely mishandled Duncan's case, and yet Texas looks nothing like Liberia right now. So from that angle I'm not afraid of ebola at all.

Or at least that's my take at present. You're on the inside of this whole thing. How are the control measures looking? Promising?

You know, that's a difficult Question to Answer My Man. Yes, at this point...And when I say "at this point" I mean RIGHT THIS INSTANT...Yeah, We're good. However, with something like Ebola which is just that much of a task to deal with, it's something that will ALWAYS be up in the air. AT THIS MOMENT...We seem to be able to efficiently manage the issues We're faced with, but these instances and variables are JUST THAT difficult to monitor long term. So I say Yes at the moment things are promising. Now this time Tomorrow, We wake up and Others have infected 4 different People in 4 different Towns...It's THAT quick that variables can and do change, and then everything of Information and Protocol is back in the air as "best Guesses".

I see. I do change it about once a week, every other week at most for the most part. Easy mistake.

~ o,..,o ~ No, there is not point of worrying unless worrying were to bring a solution with it. We just have to hope it doesn't get worse here.
