I'm not even gonna watch it on Funimation. So, I'm gonna watch it on some streaming sites like I would normally. Funimation has some great dubs but their site kinda sucks.

I'm fine with Funi having this, for me the Funi video players work better than CRs. Excited either way.

If anybody wants to share their Funi password with me, I will watch it on Funimation.

I think more people need to give Funi another chance. If you haven't used them in the last couple of months then I think you're basing your opinion on out of date knowledge. They're way better now.

Using test trial on Funimation now. It's actually not that bad although I still prefer CR's streaming service much better. Their queue is shit though.

On topic:

About this series, yes the manga is ongoing and last I checked, there are roughly 21 chapters (the manga is actually available to read here on CR). And each page is about roughly 20-30 pages. So roughly, this series will likely be 1 cour with an original ending unless they seriously decide to extend the story.

Or follow the books, since the manga itself is an adaptation.

Do some of the events change though?

No idea. But I doubt the manga would diverge so far that it couldn't follow the story they were adapting.

I watched all Death Parade in the Funimation web page. The video player isn't as bad as you guys say, and the rest of series in the xbox 360 app which was very...

Btw, I just realized that the studio is Liden Films (Terraformars). I thought it was gonna be produced by A-1 pictures or Bones.

Ouch, are you saying only one manga volume a month?

I hope those are damn good manga, and beefy volumes at that?

More like a chapter a month.

Holy crap, but that's even worse, since most manga/volumes=2 chapters. Yikes talk about painful.

Yeah man, it's the pain of being up-to-date with monthly releases.

I cant follow monthly one chapter release, i have to wait for years until i will touch it again
but since anime is coming out, i will see how it goes, i hope it doesnt end with 12 episodes

Episode 1

Arslan was a pampered prince who didn't know what kind of hell was going on outside of Pars. After seeing that a kid was captured as an enemy soldier he lets him escape, and now his eyes were opened out to the outside world, thus he sees the world in a different light. That was quite a nice way to set the stage up for big things to go down here. It's nice to see this show being told by the same mangaka who did FMA. Great way to begin this.
