Based on the award winning mystery anime and manga series by Gosho Aoyama, now celebrating two decades of crime sleuthing, Detective Conan comes to Crunchyroll with the Case Closed anime!

TMS Official Synopsis:
There's no mystery Conan cannot solve!
The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason. One day while on a date with his girlfriend, he encounters two suspicious men dressed in black. His natural instinct and intuition leads him to believe that these men may be associated with some kind of criminal activity, so he follows one of them. Just as he becomes a witness to a crime being committed by this man, he is knocked unconscious by the man’s accomplice and is forced to drink a mysterious liquid. When he next wakes up, he finds he has reverted back to being a small child.
Dazed, confused and not knowing whom to turn to, Shinichi heads for home where he comes across his neighbor and a scientist, Dr. Agasa. After some intensive convincing, Dr. Agasa finally believes that this little boy is in fact Shinichi. As the mysterious liquid appears to be some kind of a new invention, there is no way to turn Shinichi back to his formal self until the ingredients of this liquid are discovered. Therefore, to keep Shinichi away from any more trouble, Dr. Agasa advises him to hide his true identity and stay at his girlfriend’s house whose father, Kogoro Mouri, operates a detective agency. It is from here that Shinichi will be able to obtain the information about the men in black who poisoned him, and the evil organization behind them.

As he must remain incognito, Shinichi now must assume a new identity and is henceforth known as Conan Edogawa and as such, the distinguished Detective Conan is born. With the brains of a genius detective and the looks and strength of an elementary school student, Detective Conan proceeds to solve crimes for Kogoro and Inspector Megure using his inborn talents as well as secret weapons created by Dr. Agasa all the while without letting them know he is the one solving these mysteries. Will Detective Conan be able to find the men in black so that he can return to his true and former self?

Join Detective Conan in his adventures to solve the greatest mystery of all time.

ok, never actually watch any of this show but to catch up with that, its going to take me about 3 months to marathon thru, and I already have more than enough shows to catch up on. gonna have to put this on the to-watch-later list. I'm still backlogged about 2 years worth of shows.

If each episode is about 20min of actual content it would be 10,47 days before catching up on this anime.

I disagree that you can "pick up from any point"

You definitely need to see the first handful of episodes to get an idea of the situation - but then you can pretty much go on your merry way if you're more into individual mysteries than the plot, like myself. If you're interested in the plot, there's plenty of guides telling you what to weed out.

I'm really curious to know if it's getting the One Piece treatment where they went back and subbed the rest. There's a legitimate dead spot where Funimation stopped dubbing to now where English releases are impossible to get legally.

Not really something you can pick up at episode 754 but you can easily catch up on the story since there's not many episodes that progress it.

Also Ran isn't his girlfriend ><

Meitantei tiffako! ww

I started watching anime because of Conan... Here's hoping that those regions can someday be expanded to Europe, though with the publisher being TMS the future seems pretty grim.

Hopefully it will some time in the future. But that will mostly all depend on how good the streaming does. Hopefully will also get Magic Kaito 1412 and the all the past and future movies if both series.

The unsubbed episodes of One Piece were like 50 episodes. The currently unsubbed episodes of Conan are like 600. It'll take a lot more work.
