I would fight for freedom and try to rid the world of its evil. The world could become a better place if religion and beliefs didn't separate us as a people. We are all human beings in this world and we all deserve to live a peaceful life full of love and prosperity. If we didn't have religions we would run out of excuses for the way we brutally kill each other over and the way we treat our neighbors and the way we savagely kill each other just to show people that we are better. In my eyes when wars are fought nobody wins. Everyone loses something in the chaos. The world is full of greed because it is in our primal beings that we have always craved more, we never figured out when enough was enough we as the human race have always believed that we could do better and have more by any means necessary. But to answer your question I would fight in a war again and again so that we as a human race and strive to be something greater then what we already are. We live in a time where technology and modern medicine can cure diseases and all sorts. But we can't figure out how to get along with each other without our greed and desires getting in the way. There has been many examples of this through out history. They make us learn about these thing so that we will never do them again. Like the Great Wars we fought Germany in WWI and after we had proclaimed victory we rip there souls out and took things from them and belittled them to a point where they hated the world for what it has done to them. Things like this is what makes terrorism a thing in the world. When people feel belittled and their lively hoods ripped from them they fell hatred towards the world because either they caused it or turned a blind eye to what was going on because it was in their identified borders. This is what we turned into. Monsters. We use to wage wars on poverty not poor people. We made amazing technological discoveries around the world that made us as a whole better. What happen to us to the point where we stopped caring about us as human-beings and were more worried about our individual interests. But thats what i hope to thrive for us not to just reach for what is most convenient but reach for the endless possibilities.

im not stupid enough to fight in a war, and if a war happens it would be probably because of a politicians greed of oil or territory, still if theres a new world war, i have to go, whether i like it or not....

Nope, I'm a peaceful whimp. Only way I'd want to kill someone is if they directly threatened my immediate family.

Depending on what for, maybe. In all honesty, I'd probably be terrible in a war. If I could, I'd just sit it out and leave it to the rest of the US

I have deployed three times to Afghanistan, and was in the Army for five years overall. I got out in October 2011 and should have a contract signed to go back in by the end of the year. On top of the fact that I have been both fired and kicked out of job interviews where I used to live for being a combat veteran, I really did love being a paratrooper.

It is completely normal to be willing to put your life on the life to defend the people you love, so I don't see how being forced into a conflict of arms signifies a yes, as fighting for survival when approached by an active threat attempting to take your life is a natural instinct. The people I have issues with are the individuals saying they will kill people for messing with their friends and family, I don't think they understand how many mental barriers need to be removed to accept ending a life as a logical response to aggression. I know trained killers who couldn't pull the trigger when the time came so I doubt some internet otaku who has never been in a real fight could spill blood either, not unless they have sociopathic tendencies.

To these kids saying they plan to join to military, fantastic. Go read your SMART Book finish Basic Training/Boot Camp and AIT/MOS School(Rate Training for you sailors). Then private message me to let me know if your preconceptions were anything like the real thing.

HAVE AN AIRBORNE DAY!!!

I tried, they wouldn't let me. I was told I am PDQ, apparently having a Titanium spine disqualifies you.

Nah. United States is an ironic country if I were to fight in a war for them. "Fight for my freedom" Psh~

Generally I wouldn't want to participate in war itself. Unless I somehow got involved, then I'll just defend myself if there happens to be something happening near by.

It's one thing for two leaders to organize a fight to the death but it's quite another to ask two uninvolved people to fight in their stead.
