What are some things or thing you have done that you never thought you were capable of doing? It can be overcoming a fear, something you struggled with, something you triumphed at, finding a strength you never thought you had...

Something you coped with and persevered through...etc.

Share and it might help another person know they are just as capable.

I guess for me since I am asking you all to share something, I never thought myself capable of battling twice for my life, through an illness that I thought I conquered the first time.

Well when I was in my early 20's I almost died. My gallbladder decided to go and caused serous/deadly pancreatic problems. I was told after my ultrasound that if I didn't have it out sometime that week I would likely die before the following weekend. I had lived with that for five month prior and none of the doctors figured out how I lived so long being so sick.

Passing the driving test and actually driving a car on a real highway.

No accidents so far.

Don't jinx it.

A lot of things; things that I'm not going to share with the internet.

It feels really euphoric to overcome things that seem impossible.

I'd say something very similar, passing my motorbike riding test then riding on a highway was terrifying and i never thought i could do it.

But wait there's more...

Scuba diving was freaking horrible, just the thought of my lungs exploding from holding my breath was so horrifying.
Going on my first actual "romantic" date, for me it was one of the hardest things to do because of how i am.
and finally admitting my sexuality, my cousin was nearly straight up murdered when he confessed he was gay, so i thought that if i said to the exact same people that i was Pansexual, i thought i'd be dead, but im still alive so hurrah!

Also, Jinx.

someone i know very well experienced something similar. in her case it was a misdiagnosis that almost ended up costing her life later on and one she continues to struggles with today. now she's a scientist, working for the biggest hospital in Britain and it's her main goal that the kind of incompetency she came across doesn't go unnoticed. don't want to blow her bubble but i doubt anything can change but the little things sometimes matter too i guess.

Self-taught handstand pushups using no wall. When I was in high school I was obsessed with it. I didn't even know how to do a proper handstand when I was trying it. I don't think I can do it anymore though, and I haven't really tried in awhile either.

Lost 50kg took like 6 months, best thing I've ever done.
Starting weight was like 138kg and now I'm dreaming of doing marathon one day.

So yeah, been cracking some concrete wall, I can say that it feels good when chunk of it falls off.

Getting to top 10 ranking boards on a couple online games I guess. I always thought those were for no-life sweaty recluses who grind 16 hours a day but when I got there, I was like lolwut? So much for having to play so much but then again, those weren't big time games like MapleStory.

I was also proud to watch my guildmate friends win tournaments and participate in WCGs. They were broadcasted worldwide two years in a row.
