So last night till early this morning I was watching an amazing anime called Akame ga kill, I got to episode 8 and thought I should call it a night, it'll be there waiting in the morning anyway..

For some reason, even though I watched 8 episodes, Now it's apparently " not available in your region due to licensing restrictions." What's the deal?

Maybe ask customer support? They're very helpful.

Also, are you an actual subscriber or a free user using a guest pass?

Moved to the site support forum.

Probably due to what region your IP address provided by your ISP or proxy is being detected as.

I still see NZ in the allowed country codes on the RSS page...

Go to this page and scroll almost to the bottom in the white background area and see what country is detected:

/help?topic=contact

Mine looks like below since I'm in the US. Maybe something in your environment or your ISP got a different range of IP numbers and it's not being found as NZ now? You might try bouncing your PC, router, clearing all cookies, etc... and restarting.

Your system details:
Detected country: US (United States of America)
Browser user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/38.0.2125.104 Safari/537.36

Can you try resetting your router and let me know if that works?

Wow, I'm amazed at how helpful the community is, thank you everyone for your time and help. I'm a full (anime) member, currently living in New Zealand, not visiting Russia haha. I just reset my modem and it still shows up as being in Russia.

Detected country: RU (Russian Federation)
Browser user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0

I'm not using any kind of proxy or the like.

Can you check your ip? Do the following; hit windows and search for cmd. When open type in ipconfig. It should look like this

Then look for this

Then go here http://www.ip-tracker.org/ abd trace your ip. If it tells you that you're still in Russia then reset your network card... If that doesn't help then reinstall windows

When I use Ip tracker, it shows my location as being in New Zealand from the get go. Very strange. I've tried logging out many times and resetting my router.

I have passed it along to our engineers.
It should be fixed very soon.

Sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Unless you have a combo modem/router, resetting your router won't change your IP. For that, you'll need to power cycle your modem (if it is a separate unit), and even that may not change your IP address, depending on your ISP's DHCP lease settings.

The thing is, my ip address is set to New Zealand, it's just on Crunchyroll that it shows up as Russia.
