I was considering signing up for premium but I had a couple questions about the different options. I apologize if this has already been dealt with before.
I want to know my limits (or lack there of) on Drama viewing with an anime premium membership. Like if I only choose the anime premium membership but also want to watch Ultraman Max and Ultraman Mebius how limited am I on watching these programs? Can I watch them on tv through the app? If so, can I watch them in HD (or however high the quality can go)? I hope this makes sense and please ask for clarification if it doesn't. Thanks!

As an Anime Premium Member watching Drama shows, you'll pretty much be in the same category as regular users. So you won't be able to watch any episodes with a crown on it until it's released to regular users. This could be a week later to months later depending on the series. The availability date is posted on the main page and looks something like this:

You won't be able to stream in HD and will have to view advertisements as well. The Anime Premium Membership will only give you Premium benefits for Anime titles only.

What device will be using to watch shows on your TV? Depending on the device you'll be either subjected to advertisement or would require an All-Access membership in order to stream Drama titles on said device.

I believe the PS3 will not allow you to stream any Drama without a Drama or All-Access membership.

Alright just a quick question, i want to buy the sub on CR for 8.99 a month but i was just a little curious as to what advantage that brings me when other (Not Naming) sites that offer the same content for Free! i like the idea off supporting a site that is linked to the industry i enjoy content from. but i cant seam to notice a grate deal in advantages for a paid account.

If anyone has some time to shear a few pointers it would help me out loads.

The benefits are mostly listed on the /premium_comparison page.

What isn't listed are benefits like
  • Professional translations
  • Not having to worry about your preferred site suddenly getting a DMCA takedown
  • Not funding potentially criminal organizations through the other guy's advertising
  • Much lower chance of getting infected with a computer virus or ransomware
  • That fuzzy feeling knowing that you're contributing in some small way to the entertainment media that you enjoy
  • And more!

There are currently several benefits you enjoy as a Crunchyroll Premium Member, for example:

- You'll get early access to most anime titles available on Crunchyroll, which generally means within an hour of the show being broadcast on television in Japan (compared to regular users who must wait up to a week later).
- In addition to standard definition, you may also enjoy High Definition (HD) 1080p and 720p-quality videos for early-access (Simulcast) shows, as well as back-catalog episodes.
- You will never be shown any in-video advertisements.
- You will receive additional discounts on items like DVDs featured in our Daily Deal program.

- You will be able to stream on any devices we support: http://www.crunchyroll.com/devices
- If you need assistance as a Premium Member, you'll receive VIP attention when using the "contact us" forum:
