Don't mind beards, but noticing a lot of Hipsters with beards. They are starting to look like me.

I've had a beard since early high school, and personally I think I look much better with one. I've tried shaving it a few times, but I absolutely hated it and everyone thought I looked much younger without it. I keep it trimmed fairly short, but there has been at least one girl that tried to convince me to shave it off because of the prickly kisses. I'm also one of the types of people that can have a full beard 3-5 days after a clean shave, so yeah.

I literally had a visible mustache at the age of 8, my beard started growing at age 12 so I had to start shaving. I only shaved my beard like three times, then I just started trimming it. Now after having my beard (yes its MY beard and no one else's) for almost 5 years I've never even thought about having no facial hair.

I'm not into beards. Not my thing.

On the other hand, stubble is sexy.

I personally think they're unattractive.

Please shave.

No problems here.

I only have a problem with back hair because they remind me of hairy spiders.

I once had a decent beard. I train outside year round, so my rule was I'd start letting it grow after the first snowfall, and let it keep going until the first day we had 70 F weather again.

I discovered basically four things about that. One, that it was incredibly difficult to eat my favorite food - barbecue. Two, if I ever had to blow my nose, it was quite complicated. Three, I had to trim above the lips and ESPECIALLY at the corners or the hairs would curl into my mouth. And four, when I trained outside the moisture would freeze and I would have icicles on my beard before I came in.

And yet, if I shave smooth I get nasty ingrown hairs, and that's quite a pain in the ass. So, these days I use a 1mm stubble trimmer.

It doesn't matter.

It's about fashion.
Sometimes I will shave because I know I need to wear a gas mask that day but mostly it's a waste of time to care.

The only issue I have with facial hair is when I kiss someone, and their mustache hair irritates my face.
So it only matters when it's my boyfriend.

Beard away.

[edit: and somehow I linked the wrong one....oh well, point still stands]

I just finished up with a long slab rough-in so I'm a bit of a mess. I have had one complaint but many more compliments so I'm not getting rid of it in the foreseeable future. At first it was pretty scratchy and annoying but after a while (and some conditioner) it softens up nicely.

It depends on the guy and if they keep it clean. I personally like a guy with a little facial hair. Maybe I think it looks more manly, I don't know. When my boyfriend shaves his beard, he looks 10 years younger and I feel like I'm dating a teenager.

I live near Redneckville. People love beards. Besides, shaving is so inconvenient.

I don't feel the same person without my beard. Stand your ground
