It just seems strange because you're not used to it. People from one country find food that is normal in other countries to be strange many a time.

Often, when something is unfamiliar it becomes strange though it is not always so.

It is always good to keep an open mind.

I'm not talking about traditional Japanese or Korean cuisine but about fast food monstrosities.

That KFC sandwich with a hamburger patty...the burger patty looks nasty. I'd never trust a beef patty from KFC. They need to just stick to chicken.

lol yeah, kill it with fire indeed. I mean, look at the actual thing you get at the KFCs in that pic. That burger patty...looks so nasty. It looks even nastier than what you see in the promo pic.

The one you see on the picture is not always what you get when you order it.

You get the sloppily handled burger for starters.

No meat in the burrito. It's only filed with rice and sour cream.

It is a bun that is colored black with bamboo charcoal. I guess it adds a smoky flavor to it.

Somewhere in Japan, Korea, and many other countries; in a ton of forums, there have been numerous "why does America have such strange fa(s)t food". The McRib is probably one of their main pictures.
Yes, I looked at KFC and McDogballs when I was in Japan, but both looked just as unappetizing as they do here.
I probably would have tried the blackened burger if it had been available while I was there, but I'm actually happy that all I ate was non-Americanized class food.

There are plenty of traditional meals that carry enough fat and sodium to make most cardio-pulmonary specialists cringe in horror in the USA and many other nations. There are some cool things they get though with their junk food and fast food outside the US though. Green tea creme filled Oreos anyone? India has a McCurry pan that I wouldn't mind trying. China has some interesting looking seafood sandwiches. It isn't all scary stuff.

I'm pretty sure that most of these 'strange' items on their menus are actually novelty items that they have there for s**ts and giggles. Anyways, the burger is only colored with what i believe is squid ink so there really isn't a difference in taste, just appearance.
